gettati e fabbricati in Italia, negli stabili-
menti dell’azienda in provincia di Berga-
mo: il “Made in Italy” al 100% è garanzia
di qualità e sicurezza per il consumatore,
ma anche in ogni fase della lavorazione.
For 70 years Foppapedretti has been a synonym for
safe, functional and long-lasting products. All wood
products are designed and manufactured in Italy, in
the company’s facilities in the province of Bergamo:
100% “Made in Italy” is a guarantee of quality and
safety for the consumer, but also in every phase of
the processing.

 Le origini
Il brand Foppapedretti nasce a
Telgate (Bergamo) nel 1945, dalla
passione per la lavorazione artigia-
nale di giocattoli in legno di due fra-
telli: Ezio e Tito Foppa Pedretti. Negli
Anni ’50 la produzione si integra con
mobili per la prima infanzia: nascono
i primi seggioloni, lettini e banchetti
scuola. Negli Anni ’60 vengono in-
seriti i mobili da giardino, negli Anni
’80 il grande successo dei casalin-
ghi, afferma l’azienda sul mercato
nazionale. La sede principale è a
Grumello del Monte, vicino a Berga-
mo: il cuore pulsante di un’azienda
dove sono nate le migliori idee per
semplificare la vita di tutti i giorni.

The origins
The brand Foppapedretti was set
up in Telgate (Bergamo) in 1945,
from two brothers’ passion for hand-
crafted wooden toys: Ezio and
Tito Foppa Pedretti. In the 1950s
production was complemented
with children’s’ furniture: thus were
born the first high chairs, cots and
school desks. In the 1960’s refined
garden furniture was added, and
in the 1980s the great success of
household appliances established
the company on the national
market. The main headquarters
is in Grumello del Monte, near
Bergamo: the throbbing heart of a
company where the best ideas to
simplify everyday life were born.
 L’impegno
ecologico
Da sempre nutriamo un profondo rispetto
per il legno, che è materia viva: utilizziamo
legname proveniente da aree geografiche
certificate e da boschi la cui riforestazione è
controllata. Il legno utilizzato si rinnova così
perennemente. Il legno dura più di una vita:
è un materiale naturale molto resistente e
la sua bellezza aumenta con il passare del
tempo, proprio per questo realizziamo pro-
dotti di altissima qualità. Per il legno, qualità
è sinonimo di ecologia perché i nostri pro-
dotti durano più di quanto impiega l’albero
a crescere per produrre la stessa quantità di
legname necessaria a fabbricare un nuovo
oggetto.
Environmental
commitment
We have always had the deepest respect
for wood, which is a living material; we use
timber from certified geographic areas and
from forests with controlled reforestation
projects. The wood we use is therefore
constantly renewed. Wood lasts longer
than a lifetime. It is a natural, highly durable
material and its beauty increases as time
goes by: another reason why we make the
highest quality products. For wood, quality
is synonymous with ecology because our
products last longer than it takes the tree
to grow and produce the same amount of
timber needed to manufacture a new item.

Water-based paint
Our ecological commitment is not just limited to wood.
FOPPAPEDRETTI uses non-toxic, water-based paint:
an economically-challenging choice, but one that
ensures that the harmful emissions released in the
environment are drastically reduced. It is extremely
safe for the operators, guarantees non-toxicity for
the consumer, and makes it possible for the paint
residue to be recovered and reintegrated.
Bioforest
FOPPAPEDRETTI supports projects on global
reforestation and environmental recovery by
the Onlus Bioforest organisation to promote a
manufacturing culture which is more sensitive to the
environment, effectively contributing to preserving
natural resources.

Mobile da stiro con solido asse in legno, il piano per sti-
rare si ripiega e scompare dentro il mobile di minimo
ingombro. Chiuso occupa solo 17 cm. È dotato di piano
