I am always fascinated by the communicative power of the stories, the stories
and anecdotes from their get to the point with such incisiveness.
Since I began after graduation to attend the world of counseling,
psychotherapy and training and I always gladly enjoyed their company almost
cross: a trainer who shares a story, un'aforisma enlightening, a salient quote
from a movie the find in a book of Erickson, in a video of Osho, a metaphor, a
proverb regional, a Christian parable, the story Zen, the Sufi, a poem, song,
play, that phrase of that song, the sticker of a cartoon, popular history or a
koan.
I imagine that you have already understood my intention to offer a story that
belongs to the world of martial arts, world for its ancient origin abounds stories
and poems.
I sincerely thank my student Erika for letting reported.
"A young martial artist through the entire China to get to the gym a famous
teacher.
Once arrived, the teacher asks the hearing: "Tell me, what do you want from
me?"
"I beg you with all my heart to accept me as your disciple. I want to become
the most skilled martial artist in all of China. I will be your servant. I will train
without rest. How long will it take to learn it all?"
"At least ten years"
"But ten years is a lot 'of time!", I protest' the young. "If I will work twice as
all your other disciples, what will it take me?"
"In that case it will take twenty years!"
"But what does it mean? I will train day and night with all my strength to
become an expert as quickly as possible."
"Ah! Yes, of course. So in this case it will take thirty years!"
"But really, what it is possible that, if I say that we will put more effort,
answer me that it will take more time?"
"It's simple: a person with such a hurry is a student low. If one eye is
constantly directed on the final destination, remains only the other eye to look
the way", said the Master with a slight smile witty. "

They must take the oath of absolute obedience towards Quy-Su, and all their
family members would be killed in a horrible way as punishment for any case
of broken promises. One of the punishments was that they would be gone
through a long and very painful dying process after having the belly opened
and the liver taken out.
With such iron-fist rule, Quy-Su was certain to keep the network of his DarkArmy under tight control, so his men were ready anytime to follow his order to
seize the power and help him to become a king.
But before reaching that stage he had to gain the Sacred Sword and the
Heaven Seal of the country. According to the belief of the time, anyone who
owned the Sacred Sword and the Heaven Seal would win all battles and
become the king of LINH-NAM.
Linh-Nam was a name for the large land, without precise borders, of Viet
people, a country located somewhere at the south east of China, which
included the today North Vietnam.
The Vietnamese emperor Minh-Menh in the 19th century declared DAI-NAM as
the official name of Vietnam today. But no one knows for sure when, in the
forgotten past, this beautiful term of DAI-NAM has been created to mean the
Great South country. If Quy-Su became king of the Viet, his master Hac-DaoSu would have been revered as the emperor of the Great South country.
