War Il, the War Department recognized the
need for heavy duty maintenance and
repair of rolling stock, Maintenance of

{vical repair, blacksmithing, and a foundry.

‘On April 6, 1943, the 758th ASB was.ac-
tivated at Carp Harrahen in New rieans,
