IT INDUSTRY SLOWDOWN
• After growing at 6-8 per cent annually during 2003-
2008, IT Services spending grew just 1.5-1.8 per cent a
year, between 2012 and 2014

• Nasscom, in a recent release, estimated


the country’s IT/ITeS industry growth
for 2015-16 at 12.3 per cent, which is at
the lower end of its earlier estimate of
12-14 per cent
