All About Me Artifact Project

OBJECTIVE: The objective of this project is for the student to familiarize her/himself with
artifacts as well as practice speaking and listening skills.

Each student will research her/his own life and create a personal presentation that tells fellow
classmates and teacher about her/himself. Each student will bring in three (3) personal artifacts
and explain how these three objects tell as story about his/her life. The three artifacts must fit in
the bag given (about size of pillow case) and please keep in mind that the artifacts will be touched
by other students (nothing breakable or valuable, please).

The assessment reflects the use of written language (completing document packet) as well as use
of verbal language (oral presentation).

Additionally, each student will write one letter to the student of the week that will then be
compiled into a personal book of letters. Homework passes are not allowed for this particular
assignment.
