SUMMARY
On July 10, 2009, at 1:50 AM, Police Officer Chad Mraz, #7803 and Police Officer Steven
Ulas, #9451, conducted a traffic stop at(MM@MBPark Lane, During the course of the traffic stop,
Officer Mraz could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the interior of the vehicle. A
subsequent search of the vehicle by officer Mraz, for the marijuana, revealed marijuana residue
under the driver's seat of the vehicle. Officers further searched the vehicle for additional
marijuana and subsequently found a 12 gauge Mossberg shotgun and a box of shotgun shells as
well as a fake handgun. Later on during the traffic stop, a complainant drove up to the location
and informed the officers that the subject in the listed suspect vehicle had just robbed her at a
nearby apartment complex parking lot. The complainant’s property was recovered from the
inside of the suspect vehicle. All four suspects were arrested for offenses that included robbery,
unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, parole violation, and a warrant for evading arrest.

SUMMARY
(On July 8, 2009, on Service #{EW, sr. tha Hampton #8481, PO J. Smith #9621, along with Sgt
John Rigney #4676 answered a call regal ‘a robbery in progress involving a mentally disturbed
complainant being beaten and robbed at {MWalnut Hill Lane. Deployment Sr. Cpl. Larry Coddington
#6830 and Sr. Cpl. Donavan Kuhlmann #7617 heard the call and immediately went to the location to establish
covert surveillance. Sr. Cpl's Coddington and Kuhlmann observed the suspect, put on their raid jackets, and
arrested the suspect in order to prevent the his escape
Through the diligence and efforts of these officers, the suspect was apprehended without further incident and
transported to Northeast Investigative unit for follow-up. Robbery Detective D. Boy #4174 interviewed the AP
and obtained a written voluntary statement. The complainant's care taker came to Northeast and praised the
officers to Chief Lawrence for the professional manner in which the event was handled.
These officers are commended for their Exceptional Arrest and Professionalism.

‘SUMMARY
On June 10, 2009, at 1:25 am., Police Officer William McLennan, #8724, and Police Officer Roger Hendrickson, #9382, were
flagged down regarding a shooting that had just occurred at 6012 Abrams Rd. A witness pointed out the suspect vehicle that was
pulling out of a nearby gas station. The officers notified the police dispatcher and initiated a felony stop in the Iiblock of Abrams
Ra. The driver and passenger were both arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault on Case Number|
Due to the close proximity of the offense and this arrest the complainant and several other angry individuals attempted to escalate the
situation with further violence. The Quick Response for assistance by Senior Corporal Lance Raymond, # $495, and partner Police
Trainee Eller Gilliom, #9551, Senior Corporal Jeffrey Williamson, #4916, and partner Police Trainee Lorenzo Carranza, #9508,
Senior Corporal Russell Sanchez, #7096, and his partner Kendrick Stewart, #9589, along with Police Officer Jeffrey Kennard, #8907,
helped control a chaotic crime scene allowing the investigation to proceed in a safe orderly manner and conclude without further
violence. Upon conclusion at the crime scene these officers aided in the transport of witnesses and the suspects to CAPERS.
‘The Officers involved should be commended for their TEAM WORK and a JOB WELL DONE. Their dedication assisted in the
arrest of two violent felony suspects and prevented further violence from occurring,
