( SimCAT-2 ) ‘Test Booklet Serial No. 2308 INSTRUCTIONS Before the Tes 1, DO NOT REMOVE THE SEAL OF THIS TEST BOOKLET UNTIL THE SIGNAL TO START IS GIVEN. 2. Keep only the IMS ID Card, Admit Card, E-mail Admit Card, pencil, eraser and sharpener with you. DO NOT KEEP books, rulers, drawing instruments, calculators (including watch calculators), pagers, cellular phones, stop watches or any other device or loose paper with you. These should be left at a place indicated by the invigilator. Use only HB pencil to fill in the OMR Answer Sheet. Ensure that your personal data have beep entered correctly on the OMR Answer Sheet Check whether you have entered your Permanent IMS Number (PIN) in Box 1 of the OMR. Answer Sheet correctly or else you will not be able to access your score and feedback, At the start of the Test: 1. As soon as the signal is given, open the Test Booklet. 2. Immediately after opening the Test Booklet, verify that all the 32 pages. (including. the blank ones} have been printed properly and are in order. If there is @ problem with your Test Booklet, immediately inform the invigilator/supervisor. You will be provided with a replacement. vee ‘How to answer: 1, This test has three sections which examine various abilities. Each section has 30 questions, You will be given two and half hours to complete the test. In distributing your time over the three sections, please bear in mind that you need to demonstrate your competence in all the three sections, 2. Directions for answering the questions are given before each group of questions. Read these directions carefully and answer the questions by darkening the appropriate ovals on the OMR Answer Sheet. There is only one correct answer to cach question. 3. Each question carries 4 marks. In“every section, 1 mark per question will be deducted for the first five incorrect responses. Thereafter, 2 marks per question will be deducted for every incorrect response. For example, 6 incorrect responses in a section will result in the deduction of 7 marks. 4, Do your rough work only on the Test Booklet and NOT on the OMR Answer Sheet. 5.
