La Normativa 8827 (Impianti di riduzione finale della pressione del gas) prevede linserimento di un regolatore di secondo stadio per impianti funzionanti con pressione a monte compresa fra 0,04 e 5 bar. In particolare per distribuzioni multiple detti regolatori devono essere dotati di dispositivo di sicurezza nei confronti dellaumento della pressione regolata. Quando limpianto alimenta da solo gli utenti (cio non ci sono altri impianti ad assicurare automaticamente lerogazione del gas) il regolatore deve essere dotato di un dispositivo di blocco dellerogazione in caso di abbassamento della pressione regolata al di sotto del valore minimo consentito. I riduttori e regolatori sono inoltre dotati di una valvola di sicurezza per proteggere la membrana e le apparecchiature di utilizzo da eventuali sovrapressioni. The 8827 rule (Systems of final reduction of the pressure of the gas) foresee the connection of a regulator of second phase for working systems with upstream pressure comprised between 0,04 and 5 bar. In particular for multiple distributions these regulators must be equipped of device of emergency in the comparisons of the increase of the regulated pressure. When the system feeds alone the customers (that is there are not other systems to assure the distribution of the gas automatically) the regulator must be equipped of a block device of the distribution in case of lowering of the pressure regulated to the lower minimal value concurred. The reducers and regulators are moreover equipped of a safety valve in order to protect the diaphragm and the equipment in use from eventual overpressures.
