“Your patience throughout the past few weeks is greatly appreciated by me. We have
been tested on many different levels. For example, the work on the terrace required that
‘we re-route all traffic, and the programming issuos required us to now use HSST rather
than Skedula. All of us are handling the challenges, which will certainly be rewarding as
we experience success.
‘The Small Learning Communities are moving along quite smoothly. We will, over the
next few months, experience some “growing pains,” but as we see students achieve
academic success, we will feel rewarded. The cafeteria looks terrific and the food is
quite good. Over the passed few weeks there has been an increase in the number of
students eating lunch in school. Our first two fire drills were the best fire drills we had in
the past year, This is particularly meaningful since we do not have the lobby entrance
available as an egress.
Recently, we received our preliminary Progress Repost. We made modest gains in the
.gradvation rate, but increased credit accumulation for first-year, second-year, and thiré-
yoar students by 8-10%, Congratulations to all of you for making this happen!
1 am looking forward (o working collaboratively with you throughout the year.
Thank you.
