A transracial adoptee, Liz was born in South Korea and grew up in Washington, DC. and for the past ten years, she has been developing anti-bias and anti-racism work with youth of all ages. Despite her years of experience, she sees educating herself on these issues as a spectrum with no end, and she is constantly seeking to improve and deepen her own understanding. She started her Instagram in the fall of 2017 because she was looking for a way organize her anti-bias work and equity work with students, and figured she should create a separate space away from her personal account.
