In this podcast, I want to answer the question, “is it possible to gain weight on fruits and vegetables?”
When talking about fruits and vegetables, and if it will cause weight gain, it really depends on the amount and frequency you’re consuming them. Overall, you can potentially gain weight by eating fruit, but not vegetables.

Vegetables and weight gain:
 • It’s unlikely that you’re going to gain weight on vegetables. Of course, you will gain weight if you consume certain vegetables like potatoes.
• For example, 7 cups of a salad with other mixed vegetables would only give you 3.8 net carbs (extremely low).
• You may get bloating or fluid retention from consuming vegetables which can cause weight gain but not fat gain.
