In this podcast, we’re going to cover the 5 things NOT to do when you’re doing intermittent fasting.
This is a great video for those of you still learning how to do intermittent fasting so you can be sure to avoid these intermittent fasting mistakes.
Top Five Fasting Mistakes:
1. Consuming BCAA/Collagen — These are partial amino acids that will knock you out of ketosis.
2. The 5:2 diet — 5 days out of the week you’re eating whatever you want and 2 days out of the week you’re eating a low-calorie diet. This never gives the body time to keto-adapt and is not consistent enough to see changes.
3. Omitting Salt/Electrolytes — Your body needs these minerals.
4. Having a Huge Meal After Fasting— Doing prolonged fasting (around 72 hours) and then having a huge meal can shock your system and create problems.
5. Omitting Keto — You need to combine healthy keto with intermittent fasting for max benefits.
