Robert Kissel, was a high profile investment banker who had moved with his wife, Nancy, and their three children to Hong Kong in 1998. While living there, Robert and Nancy settled into the already established ex-patriate community of wealthy Americans living in Hong Kong. According to those who knew Robert and Nancy, he was professional and hard working and she was devoted to her family and her children.
