Description
John Shewey has made more of an impact in my fly-tying progress than any other human being could ever hope to. As the author of Spey Flies and Dee Flies, his book guided my early steelhead fly-tying days, and even his more recent book, Classic Steelhead Flies, has further improved my time and enjoyment behind the vise. The man is a wealth of knowledge and he has dedicated his life to the pursuit of steelhead and the angling history they bring us. I met with John in Oregon in an attempt to bring his words to life, away from the pages and here for you on Anchored. This episode is sponsored by Peak Fishing.
