We had mixed emotions on the day this show was recorded, 24 hours after the brutal murder of 11 Jews in a synagogue in Pittsburgh. On one hand, Jews worldwide were grieving, still trying to come to terms with the shocking news. On the other hand, we feel that we have an obligation to celebrate Israel and its culture in the 60 minutes we are allotted each week. So after we play a couple of songs of hope, we spend the rest of the hour celebrating brand new music from Israel...and maybe that's just what we need today. Am Yisrael Chai!
