In today's episode I'm sharing with you 4 everyday activities that you can use to practice mindfulness. Mindfulness is about bringing your attention to the present moment. Meditation is one way you can practice mindfulness. But there are other ways. I’ve had a hard time developing a meditation practice. I have this belief that high achieving ballers are meditating for an hour a day, every day, starting their day off with meditation, ending it with journaling, and doing all of these mindfulness practices. I’m probably off base, but that’s the image I have in my mind. For me, I remember to meditate a handful of times per week. Today was a great day for me because when I had an hour window in which I had the house to myself and could dive into any task I wanted, I was able to influence myself to go outside and meditate for a few minutes. But lately I feel like that happens less and less. There are other ways of practicing mindfulness, however, and that’s what I want to share with you today.
