Anita's herb cheese
1 clove garlic
2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Process in food processor or use your immersion blender.
Anita's WASSAIL
2 quarts apple juice
2 cups orange juice
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 (3-inch) stick cinnamon
1 teaspoon whole cloves
1 teaspoon whole allspice
Combine all ingredients in a Dutch oven; bring to a boil. Simmer for at least an hour. Serve hot.
