Rubber-insulated

flexible cable with polychloroprene sheathing resistant to mechanical stresses, oils, chemical corrosion and weathering. For installation in dr y, damp or wet environments, in the open air, in workshops with explosive atmospheres. For connections liable to moderate mechanical stresses, e.g. industrial or agricultural workshop apparatus, large boilers, heater plates, por table lamps, electric tools such as drills and disk saws, electric appliances, por table motors and generators on building sites or farms, etc.; also for fixed installations along floors or shelving on temporar y job sites and in cabin accomodation; for connecting structural elements in lifting apparatus, machiner y, etc. Suitable for applications up to 1000 V for adequately prot ected fixed installations (i.e. inside pipes or equipment) as well as for rotor connections to lifting apparatus motors.

underground

acceptable only if adequate protection is provided against the risk of damage. D uring laying and wiring operations, it is advisable to avoid a tensile strain exceeding by 5 kg x mm of the total conductors area. Not recommended for connecting equipment subject to continuous movements, powered by means of catenaries or cable -winder drums.
