In this way, this new system will put an end to discrimination ~ present in the current system of transportation ~ by being inclusive and being economically accessible. Additiorally, this new system will be sustainable by reducing the emissions of toxic gases, which damage human health as well as harm the environment. {Last but not least, the system will guarantee the safety ofits users. This new system of transportation has already obtained a patent in the United States, as well as in other parts of the wor'd, Presenter: Pedro Roberto Kanof Pedro Roberto Kanof is an entrepreneur: he is the founder and CEO of Kanof Mobility Solutions, an enterprise which has the mission of manufacturing and marketing the product based on his invention of a new system of sustainable large-scale transportation based on bicycles. In this endeavor, he developed in the last five years an intense international activity, including presentations at conferences from Copenhagen to Bogota, from Buenos Aires to Berlin, from Washington DC to Rome, and also gave media interviews, The KMS proposal remains at the forefront of alternative transportation as a clean and affordable mobility solution. Kanof has previously worked in both the industrial and academic realms. As a professional he has worked in truck and car manufacturing (Mercedes Benz Argentina, and Alfa Romeo, Italy), publishing (Mondadori, Italy), and financial institutions (the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, and the Inter- ‘American Development Bank) in Africa, Eastern Europe and the Americas. He has taught information technology in many universities (UC-Berkeley, California; Johns Hopkins University; George Washington University, Washington DC; Universita di Milano; Universita di Venice TUAY, Italy; Universidad de los Andes, Merida, Venezuela; and Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires, Argentina). He holds a Doctoral degree in Engineering from Milan Polytechnic, Italy, and also studied at the Institute de Recherche sur F'informatique et 'Automatisme-INRIA, Paris, the ILO- International Training Center, Turin, Ttaly, the Hass Graduate School of Business Administration at Berkeley, University of California, land at the Facultad de Ingenieria de la Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires. He is a member of many engineering and management professional associations, and has been on the scientific board of different international conferences.
