Entry requirements
1) All Degrees issued by Italian universities or second cycle/Master's Degree.
2) International academic qualifications recognised as eligible for admission to PhD studies. Please
see art. 3 of the Call.
3) Candidates who will complete their degree programme after the publication of the Call, by 31
October 2016, are required to notify the PhD Office of the date in which they will obtain their

qualification by the aforementioned

Assessment of qualifications and oral interview
Qualifications to be uploaded on the on-line application
Application form (including identification document/passport)
For international qualifications: submit online documentation as specified in art. 3 of this Call
Candidates applying under condition: certificate or self-certification (using annex 5) with
transcripts of records with marks, weighted average and credits relating to the Italian Laurea
Magistrale.
Master thesis abstract (max 20.000 characters including spaces, to submit as pdf file)
Max 3 publications already published (to submit as pdf file)
Letters of reference signed by professors or qualified researchers (see art. 4 of the Call; the writer
must specify the level of knowledge and the scientific capability of the candidate). Letters do not
contribute to the final score.
Research project (max 4000 words) written by the candidate choosing a title among those offered
by the PhD programme.
Application fee: 50.00 for each application submitted (1,50 Euro will be charged for each
payment)
Application fee deadline: 23 June 2016 (mandatory term)
Candidates who do not pay the application fee within the deadline will be excluded from the
competition.
Candidates with international qualifications are exempt from paying application fee.
