ngefahrten Ubungen unteschei-
dden sich wesentlich von den
Ubungen des ersten Hees
Technik und Klangverbesserung
stehen hier noch deutlicher im
Vordererund.
Fr die Tonleterubungen soll,
von der Tonika ausgehend, ein
Durclichreiten des gesamten
‘Tonumfangs des Instrumentes
vorgenommen werden, Hierfar
soll bis zum jeweils hochsten und
tieften Ton der entsprechenden
Tonleiter und anschliessend wie-
der utdek zur Tonika vorge-
angen werden. Diese Tonleiter
sollte ohne Unterbrechung drei-
‘mal oder meh hintereinandet
‘gespielt werden. Dabei achte man
standig auf perfekte Gleichmis-
sigkeit in Ton und Fingern,
benso durchschreite man den
‘Tonumfang von der jewels 2.3
coder 4. Stuf der enteprechenden
Tonleiter aus.
Da diese erste Reihe von Tonle
tern 4 Noten pro Zahlzeitenthalt,
verschiebt sich die jeweile erste
Note einer Zahlzet, auf der die
Betonung liegt, immer weiter. Auf
diese Weise witd innerhalb von 4
Durchgingen jede vorkommende
Note zur betonten Note
‘Wenn man diese Methode auch
suf Gruppen von jeweils 3 oder 6
Noten anwendet, erhalt man 2
reve Serien mit jewels 3 oder 6
Durchldufen. Hierbei massen die
‘Sechsergruppen allerdings als 3x2
lund. nicht als 2x3 aufgefasst
werden, da sonst rhythmiseh nur

die Notierung zu vereinfachen

Zasammen mit den Leitern in
Terzintervallen und den gebro-
chenen Akkorden, deren jede
[Note auf diese Weise einmal zur
bbetonten Note wird, ergeben sich
so fur jede Tonart die wichigsten
Obungen, die die Basis fur eine
solide Technik bilden. Man kina
te diese Art der Behandlung auch
auf Tonleitern in anderen Inter
wallspringen wie Quarte und
Quinte ausdehnen. Ebenso konn-
ten andere Akkorde als Tonika,
Dominantseptakkord und. ver
rminderter Septakkord herange-
ogen werden. Dies fuhrte dann
aber aber das Ziel dieser Hefte,
die wichigsten Tonleitern und
‘Akkorde, hinaus. Am Ende die-
ses Teils (im drtten Heft) fuhren
wir im Anhang diechromatisehen
Tonleitern, die Ganztonleitern
lund Akkorde mit erweiterter
Quime an, die aut die gleiche
Weise geubt werden sollen.
Nach grundlichem Studieren der
vorliegenden Ubungen wird jeder
Saxophonist in der Lage sein,
