Il Ges storico nel suo contesto Prof. Joseph Sievers

Per avvicinarsi a Ges di Nazareth come figura storica sono state tentate innumerevoli vie. Uno dei requisiti fondamentali conoscere meglio il contesto in cui egli vissuto. Questo corso cercher di affrontare il tema della ricerca sul Ges storico, facendo attenzione alle possibilit, i limiti ed i risultati di tale ricerca. Dopo unesposizione delle problematiche di fondo, il corso si dedicher a vari elementi costitutivi del contesto di Ges: la situazione della Galilea, i farisei, il Tempio, loccupazione romana, Qumran, linterpretazione delle Sacre Scritture, le attese messianiche, la crocifissione di Ges nella situazione dellImpero Romano e nel suo contesto locale. Con questi elementi si cercher di dare spunti per studi pi approfonditi dei vangeli e una migliore comprensione della vita e dellinsegnamento di Ges. Lesame orale pu essere sostituito da un elaborato, da concordare tempestivamente con il docente. La lingua di insegnamento sar litaliano, ma una parte della bibliografia sar disponibile soltanto in inglese. La seguente traccia del corso orientativa. Per ogni tema sono previste due sessioni (una settimana), ma potranno esserci dei cambiamenti, secondo landamento del corso. Le letture delle fonti antiche indicate e quelle di Theissen Merz e degli autori riportati in grassetto sono obbligatorie e dovrebbero essere fatte prima della lezione rispettiva.
