My dear Brothers & Sisters:
With this letter, the Apostles and |, in oneness with our Chief Apostle Fehr, would not only want
to enter into your homes via your “mail slots”, but especially through your “heart's door” into your souls.
Almost one-sixth of the millennium year 2000 has already been lived through. What has passed over us
in unanticipated happenings, through us in unwanted circumstances, and passed by in uncountable
events, is not only etched into our souls but also collected at God's throne through our heartfelt prayers.
Revelation 5:8, “ ... golden vials full of odours (incense - Luther translation). These are the prayers of
the Saints”. All of the aforementioned have created a variety of different feelings out of our heart's
depths but they were spiritually so profound that they adorn God's throne because of their preciousness.
Sometimes we ourselves underestimate the expressions of praise, thanks, concern and
supplications of our own prayers, but not our Heavenly Father. Long after we have concluded our “daily
oblation” and carry on in our spiritual and daily life, these words still keep on releasing their inner
“fragrance” and continue pleading for each one of our situations before our Heavenly Father and His Son.
Does not the call of a child keep echoing in a father’s heart and linger long in a mother’s soul? The cl
has forgotten but not the father or mother! How much more then does this apply to our Heavenly Father
and His Son. May this be a comfort for every servant and child of God, old or young, far away or close
by. These are experiences already lived through. Ahead of us are significant events that will touch all
our lives.
By the time this letter reaches you the first Service for the Departed in the year 2000 will
have taken place. In our “human shell” we will not be able to comprehend the dimensions and
scope of this act of grace in the eternity realms on seeking and longing souls. When we look
into the months ahead a movement of preparation is already taking place among the future
Confirmands, their parents and teachers. CONFIRMATION DAY usually takes place on Palm
Sunday or Easter, and in some regions on Good Friday in the month of April. It is the
culmination of years of teaching, upbringing and counseling over the hearts of these “tender
branches” in which most of us will participate as the congregation on this moving occasion.
What an effect it has on us when we see these young souls approaching the Altar of Christ,
* outwardly groomed and dressed as an honor to God’s house,
wardly adorned with the foundation of the sacraments,
+ in purity of faith to have their Heavenly Father's blessing bestowed upon them as the ongoing
security over their Confirmation vow, on this their spet Confirmation day.

‘Telephone (773) 539-3652 Telefax (773) 478-6691May each one of us join in fervent prayer as a preparation and support for the holiness of this
occasion. After all, they are “our Young People” and the continuity of God's work until its completion.
They are to all of us like our own children wherein we want to be a refuge for them as are the hearts,
homes, and prayers of their own parents who brought them into being and raised them together with
their spiritual teachers who rendered this god-pleasing, timely and eternity work.
ON SUNDAY, MAY 14™ OUR CHIEF APOSTLE FEHR WILL CONDUCT A DIVINE SERVICE IN LOS
ANGELES, CALIFORNIA COMMENCING AT 11:00 a.m. PDT which will be televised throughout North,
Central and South America. Seating is limited in the church building therefore regrettably it will only
accommodate “ticket hoiders” from that area. Every Chief Apostie visit to our region has always had a
special spiritual significance to which many will testify, as a result of the blessing from above. In all of
these Divine Services we all can confirm that our Heavenly Father provided everything through His
foremost servant so that we lack for nothing, Luke 22:35, “ ... And he said unto them ... lacked ye any
thing? And they said, Nothing”.
Many plans and preparations are now already taking place for this visit but above all of this there
still are needed the daily prayers of each one of us for the safekeeping and well-being of our Chief
Apostle and all who will accompany him. He comes to minister to each of us in all matters that we lay
upon Christ's Altar in sincere longing, with a thankfulness shown by our own personal offerings, as well
as our supplications whereby every soul may hear and feel that our Father has personally spoken to us.
Every soul needs to make this experience of faith and live through the confirmation of the choir
hymn, “My Heavenly Father watches over me”. Such Services are vital and necessary for the
strengthening of our faith, being made worthy and perfected in soul, the completion of this work, and
the return of the Lord Jesus as the Bridegroom of our souls in order to take us home.
Sincerest heartfelt greetings of love from our dear Chief Apostle, in which the Apostles and I join
most happily,
