The Central Federation of Labor represents more than 30,000 union members and their families across the County, including its largest town—Colonie. “We are pleased to stand with Supervisor Paula Mahan as she strives to make Colonie a better place to work and live for our members and their families,” said Steve Green. “When Paula Mahan took office, the town was faced with a large budget deficit and she has worked hard to reduce that deficit. We are excited to endorse her for a second term.” “1 am honored to receive this endorsement,” said Supervisor Mahan. “We have worked very hard to ensure the quality of life that the residents of Colonie are accustomed to has been preserved while working to address the fiscal challenges the town has faced. The easy path would have been to resort to drastic cuts which would have harmed our residents’ quality of life, our employees, and the working men and women of Colonie. This endorsement affirms that we are addressing the issues we face while working to keep Colonie the community that people expect.” In addition to endorsing Supervisor Mahan for a second term, the Albany County Central Federation of Labor also endorsed first time candidates Daniel Hornick and Paul Rosano for seats on the Colonie Town Council. Dan Homick is a former policy analyst at ‘Albany County and currently a high school government teacher. Paul Rosano is a former small business owner (Rosano’s Hardware) and long-time community volunteer with Westland Hills Little League and Colonie Pop Warner football. ae MAILING ADDRESS: 1044 Broadvvay, Albany, New York 12204
