to pay P630 million for its
unauthorized use. ‘

Realty Development Corp. and
asked the court to order its evic-
tion for illegally occupying 2.3
hectares of state land fron Jan. 1,
2008 to March 31, 2008.
The government is also seek
ing the payment of P10 million a
month from April 1, 2008, until
the property and its. improve-
ments “are yacated and peacefully
surrendered,
“Clearly, as. they have been
unlawfully withholding the sub-
ject property from the plaintiffs,
Sunyar and all persons... who are
claiming rights under it, should
he... ejected” Devanadera said.
Sunvar is owned by the Rufinos
and Prieto farnilies, which own the
Philippine Daily Inquirer. Text

Citing the appraisal of the Privatization Management
Office, Devanadera told the eourt that Sunvar should pay
the government P630 million as reasonable compensation
for its illegal use and occupation of the property from
Jan. 1, 2003, to March 31, 2009, and 10,364,000
