Miracle Device: Or The Discovery of The Grim Reaper
()
About this ebook
Bedrettin Simsek, the heterodox author of Turkish literature, answers these questions in his book "Miracle Device" and presents himself as a soothsayer whose prophecy about the Grim Reaper in 2005 was fulfilled by the study of British scientists in 2013, which surprisingly showed that the Grim Reaper really came to us at the moment of our death, just as it is described in "Miracle Device", an example of literature of thought, a short novel by Bedrettin Simsek.
The results of a study conducted by the British Wellcome Trust and published in the journal Plos Biology in July 2013, confirming Bedrettin Simsek's thesis that death appears as a wave at the end of our lives, can be read in the introduction entitled "The Discovery of the Grim Reaper".
The story, in the style of Edgar Allan Poe, is briefly about atheist scientists who unexpectedly discover the existence of the Grim Reaper in a miraculous device they created in a laboratory while trying to prove that there is no God.
This work, which shows that even a writer can perform miracles in the field of literature, is intended only for readers who are open to new ideas and curious about the mysteries of death.

Translated into English by Bedrettin Simsek, June 2023
Bedrettin Simsek was a promising author when his first two books were published by major Turkish publishers in 1996 and 1997. His combination of philosophy, humor, and literature set him apart from other writers, and he stood out for his skeptical attitude toward religion. When his third book, The Discussions of an Atheist and a Clergyman
was published in 1998 by one of Turkey's leading publishers, he was sued over complaints and both he and the publisher were sentenced to prison terms for insulting religious values. This sentence was suspended on the condition that he would not commit the same offense again and was noted in his record. His conviction made Bedrettin a criminal forever. All publishing houses closed their doors to him; he was excluded from the literary world. His later works were always rejected by publishers, some for fear of punishment, others for fear of the reader's reaction. He had to publish his own works; but these books, which did not find a distributor, did not reach the reader. The author's last book, published by his own means in 2014, also remained unsold. The author has been under an undeclared ban for two decades.
The Discovery of the Grim Reaper
Introduction to 'Miracle Device'
"Before we breathe our last, death fills our existence with a light that is very familiar to us, almost fulfilling a longing in our soul. What is the source of that photon that suddenly appears at the moment when it enters the body like a wave breaking from a great sea, whose teasing laughter turns into a smile on the face of the deceased? Where is it? Where does it come from? ?"
(Dangerous Thoughts, 2010)
I first mentioned the Death Photon in my book The Poison of Love,
which was released in May 2005 by Aykiri Publishing. I mentioned it again in Dangerous Thoughts
, published in 2010. I bet my thesis that There is no soul leaving the body at the time of death, but there is a wave of light entering the body
seemed crazy to most people at first. But a study conducted by the Wellcome Trust in the UK, the results of which were published in the journal Plos Biology in July 2013, seems to confirm this thesis. British scientists claim to have discovered the existence of the Grim Reaper. And they found it under a microscope. .
Before I explain the topic, it would be good to answer a question. What do my story Miracle Device
published in 2005 and the findings of British scientists in 2013 have in common?
In the story Miracle Device
, death is described as a wave of light that appears just before death and is called the death photon. Based on their studies at the Wellcome Trust in 2013, British scientists also described death as a wave of light that appears just before death and called it death fluorescence.
A study conducted by observing the death of worms under a microscope showed that death appeared in the form of a wave and traveled cell by cell through the body. British scientists have called this wave " death fluorescence and
blue death" because it scatters blue light.
The shape, movement and luminosity of the Death Fluorescence is the same as the Death Photon described in my story 'Miracle Device'.
As the moment of death approached, something strange suddenly appeared on the screens, (Miracle Device)

I wrote in my story that the death photon was born from the space before death and came to us from outside, while British scientists stated that it appeared as a result of cell death inside the body. In any case, it was discovered that death is a wave. This wave, which radiates light and shines even more, has been compared to the Grim Reaper because it brings death to the body. .
We report that organismal death is accompanied by a burst of intense blue fluorescence, generated within intestinal cells by the necrotic cell death pathway. Such death fluorescence marks an anterior to posterior wave of intestinal cell death that is accompanied by cytosolic acidosis, (Wellcome Trust)
