      Helios and Roland sat anxiously in God’s reception room. Painted in an eggshell white.

      ‘Heaven, I'm in heaven, and my heart beats so that I can hardly speak’... Irving Berlin’s ‘Cheek to Cheek’, playing through office speakers.

      A receptionist in a headset answers an endless stream of incoming calls.

      Heaven... Shangri-La... Nirvana... Kingdom of God... Abode of the blessed...

      Helios wringing his hands.

      Another receptionist entered. He sighed. Getting up to address her.

      Hello. I believe I already spoke with your counterpart.

      The two receptionist's exchange knowing glances. Not thrilled.

      I was just wondering how much longer it was going to be? I'm here to see God, you know... And it's rather pressing. You could say urgent.

      Yes of course it is. She returned with a faint smile.

      The two receptionists whisper to each other. The receptionist with the headset takes another call. This time answering in Aboriginal clicks.

      Roland looks at her his eyes blinking.

      I'm sorry what was your name again? The second receptionist asked.

      Helios sighed.

      Helios, the sun god. He raised his helmet.

      Uh-huh... The receptionist checked the calendar.

      Helios sighs harder. Raising the helmet higher placing it briefly on his head.
