APPLE TV+ TO PRODUCE MASTERS OF THE AIR, THE SECOND BAND OF BROTHERS SEQUEL

In 2001, Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, who had previously worked on Saving Private Ryan together, created and produced Band of Brothers, an American World War II miniseries based on the non-fiction book by Stephen E. Ambrose that chronicled the warpath a group of American soldiers in Europe during the war. The title of the book and the series was taken from William Shakespeare’s Henry V, in which the titular protagonist used the phrase in one of his speeches.
