    Barbara McMillan, towing her carry-on luggage behind her, strolled briskly along the blue-carpeted concourse walkway at Miami International Airport. She was headed to Gate 38 for Sunshine Airlines Flight 1262 to Atlanta. Earlier that day, she had overslept and missed the morning flight. Now she was on standby for the next flight, which was due to depart at 1:50. She glanced at her cellphone. The time was now 12:38. She would have more than an hour to kill. No problem.
