Being overweight is a problem faced by many all around the world, as the world evolves more people happen to find themselves in a situation in which they get out of breath going upstairs. With more technology being produced, more takeaway options with easy delivery to your door, coronavirus lockdown restrictions, unhealthy food being generally more expensive than junk food and so on... It makes it difficult for many people to stick to a healthy lifestyle or even find the motivation to exercise. Or, if you have tried to stick to a diet or exercise routine, it may have not worked for you because it may have felt unrealistic to your ability – well over here we appreciate the ability of a beginner.
With over 67% of the UK population considered overweight or obese, that is a high number of people that are throwing away their good health. I am sure that many people know the consequences of being overweight, yet don’t like the idea of eating their greens or going on a run. And for those who are not aware of the risks you are causing by stuffing your face every day with pizza, then this book will certainly open your eyes.
I understand many people want to get out of their unhealthy lifestyle and lose weight to look better, feel more confident, or want to train for something like the army, or just lower the health risks. Whatever the reason is for you wanting to lose weight (As long as the intention is good), and I am here to support you along your journey.
My name is Andrew Hudson and I don’t like to beat around the bush. I am a Personal Trainer and a boxing coach who has recently taken a turn to writing as I believe I can help more people reach their fitness goals. I love helping people as it brings me this incredible warm feeling looking at how much people can achieve and how it positively affects them. I believe fitness to help people more than just making them look better and this book should prove that to you.
This book will prove to you that circuit training is brilliant for helping you lose weight because it can be trained at home with little equipment, takes hardly any time to set up and is a quick workout that you can easily fit in a few times a week. Not to mention I make the circuits fun! I provide some great motivational tips, dietary advice, help with preparation for circuits and descriptions for all the exercises contained with photos.
My main aim with this book is to get you to follow the six-week plan, the six-week plan uses the circuits to help you become fitter over the six-weeks and continue to follow your own plan after the six weeks that I can help you create, just like the photos above (The weight loss photos from Joe and Susy took around 20 weeks from start to finish using my plans that are similar to the six-week plan). I also focus on diet in this book as they are extremely important with weight loss and I also include 5 circuits each at a different level – this is so I hope to cover all the abilities of everyone I am training.
