MURCHISON’S HEALTHY FESTIVE FEAST

‘Tis the season to rack up a huge calorie surplus, feel vaguely sick for a week, and waddle into the new year full of self-loathing… No! It doesn’t have to be this way. You can enjoy the festivities and eat plenty of delicious food without overdoing it. All it takes is a few smart new weapons in your culinary armoury – and I’m here to provide them.

As cyclists, we tend to be quite disciplined and structured around our eating most of the time, so it can be tempting to kick back and cram in as much cooked turkey and cheap confectionary as you can for the duration of the holiday period – just because you’ve lifted the rules. Stop! Don’t do it!
