A question of sport

This month I’ve been asked to look at the question of ‘why we shoot’ as part of an initiative across all the UK’s leading fieldsports magazines, including Sporting Rifle.

It’s an interesting question, which will bring out a wide range of answers from different people and highlight many of the benefits to wildlife and the countryside, as well as to people’s health and wellbeing. Of course, I can see now that for someone who lives in town and buys their meat from a supermarket, it might seem like
