      Loved it! Beautifully written! Relatable to most anyone. I definitely recommend this and also her book "The Strength in Our Scars" which is a powerful read in itself.

    When rain taps against your window like an eager child, it is important to remember that even the world cries—even the sky, which holds everything together, falls a part from time to time.

    The oxygen at the summit of Mount Everest is the same oxygen that has been delicately knit within your lungs; the elements at the bottom of the ocean are dotted like wildflowers along the surface of your skin. Let this reassure you—at the highest and lowest points of life, you were made to endure. You were made to survive.

    Sometimes I forget that we are all just living between the lines of life — between the aches and the joys, between what is happy and what is sad within us. Sometimes I forget that I am not alone in that, for no one lives in either extreme — in perpetual bliss or perpetual sorrow. We are all just playing with darkness and light, we are all just trying to find our harmony.

    You inspired me.

    For that, you were worth every inch of love I had to give; you were worth the fall, the bruised knees. For that, I kissed the weapon that was your warm mouth with a soft tongue and I endured. I waited.
