THE GARDENER’S GARDENER

A landscaper and garden designer by trade, Tohm Hajncl — along with his partner Danielle and children Max and Charlotte — can often be found in the garden in the subtropical Sunshine Coast hinterland.

Around three acres of their 10-acre property are under cultivation, including a 120m2 vegie patch, but Tohm admits that when he has excess herb or vegetable seedlings, he scatters them through the garden so it ends like a trail of little edible surprises. Similarly, fruiting trees and plants are dotted all over the property.
