One of the most significant centers of continuous traditional ceramic production from the past to the present-day is Avanos. Historically, pot production was common in the entire Hittite world; an industry that spread to many regions that have disappeared over time. Some tradititional pot production centers such as Avanos, Kinik, Mihalliçci and Menemen have survived to the present day.
