About this ebook

God is revealing His white roses as He removes the red paint of sin, shame, and condemnation and washes them in the Blood of Christ, declaring them white and keeping them under His grace so that no red paint can ever stick or stain again. Let God show you the truth of today as He heals the wounds of yesterday. It is time to see yourself as God sees you - His beautiful white rose.

DISCOVERING YOURSELF AS A WHITE ROSE

BEING RELEASED FROM THE WEIGHT OF THE PAINT

LEARNING YOUR VALUE AS WHITE IN CHRIST

FINDING YOUR TRUE COLOUR AND FRAGRANCE

LETTING YOUR LIGHT SHINE…AND SO MUCH MORE!

He could always see you through the red. He could always see you through the stain. He could always see you. In Him you are white. You are His beloved. If you could only see what He sees, if you could only love yourself as He loves you, life would be very different. To Him you are irreplaceable.

I always saw myself as red, damaged, used, messed up, and broken. I was stained and tarnished and felt as though I had nothing to offer. I couldn't see myself through God's eyes - through forgiving eyes. I could only see the stains. I could only see the hurt. There were words written on me that people said I couldn't remove. There were things that had happened that I couldn't forget. I needed to heal and to know the truth about who I was and how God saw me, and He was faithful to reveal that. He took me on a journey of truth, love, acceptance, and insight. He shared His forgiveness, His grace, and His mercy as He washed me clean and dealt with every stain. He made me holy and blameless in His sight and declared me as His white rose. He shared His truth, built me on His Word, and set my identity in Him. Come with Him on this journey and let Him show you the white rose He has made you to be. Don't Paint the Roses, stand strong in the truth of who you are - who He declares you to be: white, bright and beautiful.

    DEDICATION

    I dedicate this book to,

    The Gardener

    Thank you for everything.

Thank you for seeing me white,

for remaking me white, and for keeping me white.

Thank you for loving me despite

all I believed I was carrying, all the hurt,

and all the pain – you took it all and made me clean.

You are the only one who could do this.

I pray many more come to you, turn to you,

    and learn the truth. Only you can set them free;

only you can make them clean.

    Only you.

Though your sins are like scarlet,

they shall be as white as snow.

    Isaiah 1:18 (NIV)

    INTRODUCTION

On 31st October 2013 I found myself in America pursuing the dream to work in women’s ministry, but on that day, God was saying something completely different.

He said, ‘I want you to start writing books.’

I had never written a book in my life or even saw myself as a writer, but in my heart, I already had 19 outlines and titles for books that the Holy Spirit had been talking to me about.

I asked God, ‘How do I write 19 books?’

And His answer was, ‘Just start!’

So, I went to my local coffee shop and put pen to paper. The books seemed to come together really quickly and soon I had completed one, then two, then three, and I got to be the first recipient of a book that I didn’t even remember writing. Upon reading it, it seemed as if I was reading it for the very first time, and every book has been like that since.

So, be on the lookout for more books to come from

The Logan Series as He continues to ask me to write.

    What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight;

what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs.

    Matthew 10:27 (NIV)

Don’t Paint The Roses is a book for anyone who feels the heaviness of shame, guilt, and condemnation. Throughout this book allow Him to speak His truth to you, let His blood wash you clean, and reveal the white rose

    He desires you to be.

I hope you feel encouraged and inspired by this book and that it points you only to Him, the one who loves you enough to ask me to write it. Let it do the work in you that He wants it to do, and please reach out and let us know what God has done throughout this book.

Let us build a strong community of truth, justice,

All the believers were in fellowship as one body,

    Chapter 1

    PAINTING THE ROSES RED

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. John 10:10 (NIV)

I remember wanting a red rose tattooed on the back of one of my hands and a white rose tattooed on the other. This was my life. I was trapped in a tug of war between what the enemy wanted me to be and who God had made me to be. This tug of war was fierce, and I needed to understand my true identity and which camp I stood in as a daughter of the Most High God. As I watched Alice in Wonderland over and over again, I saw what God was trying to tell me about the deception, the lies, and the paint that was being painted over these beautiful, pure white roses. The queen wanted them red, so they shall be red, even though they had originally been made white. They were dripping red with the shame of the sin that the enemy had tempted them with, the red paint of guilt, the red paint of failure, the red paint of not being good enough, the red paint of adultery, the red paint of lust, the red paint of disappointment, the red paint of idolatry, and the red paint of every mistake they had ever made.

If we boast that we have no sin, we’re only fooling ourselves and are strangers to the truth. But if we freely admit our sins when his light uncovers them, he will be faithful to forgive us every time. God is just to forgive us our sins because
