AMAZING COLLECTION MOVES ON

It was not till September 2020 that Imbert May known to his friends as Bert finally called in H J Pugh to sell his amazing collection of some 240 tractors based at Osborne Farm, Pocombe Bridge just off the A30 near Exeter, Devon days aft er the amazing Brent Th omas sale.

Preparation

The only workable date was the last week in October as the calendar was just full of other sales and the team settled on the dates of Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October. Now Bert had to get all the tractors out of the shed, cleaned up and photographed. What an effort, but it all came together remembering you just cannot change one battery to another tractor, etc. Bert bought a huge batch of batteries reputed to have cost over
