About this ebook

If a person does not study the book of Revelation properly, it may seem only to call attention to bad things to come. That is, people tend to remember the seven headed dragon and the leopard beast, rather than the true nature of The Revelation of Jesus Christ. The book of Revelation is just that: “The Revelation of Jesus Christ” (Revelation 1:1, NIV). It is about Jesus (the Lamb), His Church, and everything they will influence and/or judge. In the process, Jesus unveils events that have occurred, are occurring, and will occur, including, but not limited, to the eighth beast that was, is not and yet shall be.

    Foreword

One of the responsibilities of the Church is to demonstrate the righteous acts of Jesus Christ to the world (religious orders, social orders, governmental orders, business orders, hurtful spiritual orders, etc.), to manifest to them the righteousness of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. The righteousness of Jesus, if accepted, that causes some in the world to become victorious (overcomers) out of the beast, out of the beast's name, out-of-the number of the beast, and out of the image of the beast.

In the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, the Lord Jesus made it clear that the systems of men are but beasts, though it may appear as beautiful metals¹ to some. And, according to the book of Revelation, the manifestation of the Lamb of God righteous-acts empowers people to become victorious out-of the beast.

Also, in my list above of things of the beast that can be overcome (the beast, the beast's name, the number of the beast, and image of the beast), the mark of the beast and worshipping the image of the beast appears to be excluded. That is, it appears that after a person takes the mark of the beast, or giving oneself the mark of the beast, and worshipping of the beast, victory out of the mark of the beast" and out of the worship of the beast may not be attainable. This appears to be borne out in Revelation 20:4, relative to the first resurrection.

Revelation 14:9-11: ⁹Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives a mark on his forehead or his hand, 10he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God …. 11… they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.

Revelation 20:4: Then I saw … those who had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received the mark on their forehead and their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

Hence, the warning from an angel, or messenger (a third angel) declaring what can happen if a person takes on the mark of the beast and if a person worships the beast. Yet, this book intends to show that victory out of the beast is possible and does occur; and the righteous-acts of the Lamb of God is listed as a source of deliverance from the beast and its systems!

With that said, the first few chapters are defining chapters, providing a definition of the beast and its' order.

    The Beasts

Who or what is the beast? Does the beast exist in every age? Or a better question is: does a beast exist now?

    What or who are beasts?

A beast is defined as a ruling kingdom or king (a ruler of that beast-like kingdom), in a given generation, that has the heart of a beast². Note: Jesus called King Herod a fox,³ which is a beast

Hence, beasts are defined as a person and/or a kingdom that has the characteristics of a beast.

In the Bible, the prophet Daniel define "four⁴ great beasts as kings and kingdom"⁵

The first kingdom identified as a beast was Babylon (modern-day Iraq).

The second beast Kingdom is Medes and Persia (modern-day Iran).

The third beast kingdom was Greece, started by Alexander, the great.

The fourth kingdom is a diversified iron kingdom, to include, but not limited to the Roman empire and all the Greco-Roman kingdoms that followed until God’s Stone Kingdom replaces all the former four (4)⁶ kingdoms.

Does a beast exist in every age?

A beast system does exist in every age. Daniel declared that there would be only four (4) beast kingdoms before a fifth (5th) kingdom (the fifth Kingdom is the Kingdom of God established).

Therefore, until Jesus sets up his Kingdom, beast kingdoms (one of the four, or all four beast spirits), still exist and still rules in the system of men.

    Does a beast exist now?

According to the beloved apostle John, a beast, with its’ sixth head or king, existed in his days,⁸ with other beasts to follow.

In Revelation 17, John saw a seven-headed beast.  An angel said to John, of the seven-headed beast he saw, "there are seven
