    Chapter 1

    God Sows His Word!

    Mark 4:3-8

3 "Listen! Behold, a sower went out to sow.

4 "And it happened, as he sowed, that some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds of the air came and devoured it.

5 "Some fell on stony ground, where it did not have much earth; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of earth.

6 "But when the sun was up it was scorched, and because it had no root it withered away.

7 "And some seed fell among thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no crop.

8 But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirty fold, some sixty, and some a hundred.

The Parable of the Sower is one of the most important parables that Jesus spoke; because it deals with how Satan steals God’s Word out of our hearts. Everything in the Kingdom of God starts with God’s Word. So everything you receive from God must initiate with His Word. If you do not have God’s Word on it, you cannot have it. Nothing can happen in God’s Kingdom unless God says so in His Word. So if you do not have God’s Word on something, then you will not have God’s manifestation of it. If you do not have God’s Word on it; you cannot take claim to it! If you do not have God’s Word on something you desire, then you will not see it come to pass. But, if you do find a promise in God’s Word, you can stand on it, believe in it, put all your trust and faith in it and call that thing into existence in your life.

So, Satan comes to steal God’s Word. This is the foundation of what the Parable of the Sower is all about; Satan’s devious way of stealing God’s Word out of our hearts and thus stealing God’s promises out of our lives. If Satan can steal God’s Word, he can steal God’s Promises from us.

Have you wondered why some people receive healing and others do not? Have you wondered why some folks seem to walk in the promises of God and others struggle? Have you wondered why some people prosper and others do not? Have you ever wondered why some Christians seem to have greater joy than other Christians? This book is going to answer some of these hard questions.

This book is truly one of the most important books you will ever read. Why? Because if you grab the revelation contained in this book, it will assist you in keeping every Word that God speaks to your heart for the rest of your life. If you can grasp the understanding brought forth in this book, it will be an aid to you every time you hear your Minister preach. It will assist you in every book of Bible truth you read from this day forward. It will help you to retain, your personal revelations from the Lord, if you can grab hold of the truths in this book.

This book is a revelatory commentary on the Parable of the Sower. In fact, Jesus said, we can’t understand any of the parables, if we do not understand this parable. In Mark 4:13 Jesus says, …Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables? Your understanding of the revelation of this parable will open the door for you to receive all of the promises of God.

    Chapter 2

    God’s Holy Word

Isaiah 40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever."

Before we go into the parable of the sower we want to lay a little more foundation of the importance of God’s Word. We must have understanding of the power of God’s Word in order to understand how Satan steals God’s promises.

Everything that God does in His Kingdom starts with His Word. Our ability to hear God’s Word, be a doer of God’s Word and to keep God’s Word in our heart is found in this parable. If there is no Word of God in your heart; no promise will be manifested in your life. It’s just the way the Kingdom of God works. Hebrews 11:3 says, "By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible."

    God’s Word is Seed

    Mark 4:30-32

30 Then He said, "To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? Or with what parable shall we picture it?

    31 "It is like a mustard seed which, when it is sown on the ground, is smaller than all the seeds on earth;

32 but when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out large branches, so that the birds of the air may nest under its shade.
