    Final Thoughts

By the time you have finished reading this book it is hoped that you will have gained a new a new prospective, additional revelations and your faith in God will have grown. Throughout this book are moments of meditation where you can pause, mediate on what you have read and evaluate how it affects your life. You will also see reminders to read scriptures that are aimed at reinforcing your confidence in God and what He can do for you. I believe every word in the Bible, from Geneses to Revelation is true and it is the inspired Word of God. So sit back and make yourself comfortable, relax and enjoy Prosper in the Word of God.

A woman once told me that I should gear my writing and teaching toward the younger generation. She said older folk had become hard, they were set in their ways and it would be hard to change their minds; even when they are wrong. I thought about what she said and I realized that she had made up her mind about the older generation of Christians. Maybe she had a bad experience teaching a class or witnessing to older people. It may have been easier for her to relate to younger converts. This lady believed the words that she had spoken, the word of God says as a man thinks is his heart it is so with him. Her mind was made up.

The anointing on our lives are different, but by the same spirit. One persons’ assignment may be to minister to young people and another’s assignment to the older generation. Whatever the assignment may be; be diligent and obey God and watch how He works with the ones He has assigned to you. Young or old it is not Gods’ will for anyone to be lost, but all should come to Him.

James, the Apostle wrote a letter to the Twelve Tribes. These Jews who were scattered and most of them were living outside of Palestine. In the third chapter of the book, James reminded them that the tongue is one of the smallest members of our body; even so it is the most powerful. The tongue can be like a fire, spreading without control consuming everything in its path, if it not guided by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will teach us what to say and will lead us when to speak. Furthermore, He will lead us to a person who is ready to receive the words that we speak.

The words that came out of this woman mouth were poison to me. Even though she thought she was being helpful. As I thought about the negative things that she said, I began to pray, Lord, remove the blinders from her eyes so she will not to judge other by her experience. Enlarge her mind and allow her to and understand that we must all abide in our own calling. It is the will of God that we all come to full knowledge of His word then and walk accordingly. God has assigned prophets, evangelist, preacher, teachers and even the lay member of the body to spread His word according to their own ability. Our walk with the Lord is an individual walk of faith.

Before I get started I believe the only thing in the entire bible for the unsaved person is Gods’ plan of Salvation found in Romans 10:8-10. The bible is a guide for the one who has accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. There is no way that anyone who has not made this confession to obey the Word of God. However if anyone receives these words and believes on Jesus they can be saved. So the following chapters I will be addressing faith and how it can be applied to daily living thus leading to prosperity in all areas of your life.

    CHAPTER 1

    WHAT IS FAITH

The dictionary defines faith as a strong belief or trust in something or someone, a belief in the existence of God, or a strong religious feeling or belief. With these definitions in mind, stop and think about your own faith. Do you have a strong belief or trust in God? If not it’s time to read what I have written so your faith will increase. It is possible to have faith if you have read or heard something to believe in.

I began writing in 1988. The title of my first book was Have Faith in God Be An Overcomer. In it I encouraged a strong belief in the Word of God. John 1:1 tells us, "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God." An example of faith is found in the book of Hebrews. This letter was written by the Apostle Paul to the Jews who had accepted Christ.

You may have prayed about something and you believe it is going to happen yet everybody is saying what you have asked in prayer God for is impossible. Hold on to your strong belief and remember with men things are impossible, but with God everything is possible.

Our forefather Abraham had strong belief
