Forward

A  philosophical approach to analyzing human experience might be regarded as a process of discovery. Finding the experience of existing a given and good fact, thinking individuals may inquire regarding the nature and way of being and its process of changing in a continuum of form and reform. In writing these informal essays and comments on contemporary interests I want to put some philosophical intention on it for the good.

Rene Descartes contemplated a method of affirming existence from first principles; an epistemological investigation of self-awareness. Aristotle presented numerous categories of classification of substance and logic. Socrates and Plato thought of the ideal state and of truth. They looked into what concepts are such as the good anticipating the utilitarian question.

Individuals considered by others as philosophers have examined many of the same matters concerning individual actualization, language, government of the many and the way people interact phenomenally (e.g. Sartre’s Being and nothingness and Critique of Dialectical Reason). Confucius, Hobbes and Marx  presented new social theories while Hume examined causality. Philosophers of history like  Arnold Toynbee have considered recurrent social-historical cycles. Individuals of countless generations have inquired into the destiny of spirit, mind and matter that are considered to be essential elements of a human life. Philosophers may try to find some practical applications of learning in the midst of the great population of the world inertially proceeding with more than 7 billion contemporary souls empirically coexisting.

The world may be a stage as Shakespeare commented in Hamlet, upon which people strut and fret their hour upon the stage. Philosophers may demure from the point that it is no more than sound and fury signifying nothing. The Bible; a work of little books with revealed knowledge from God, offers the wisdom of Solomon presenting the humble condition of mankind who is like a blade of grass under the eternal existence and glory of God. Faith in God as the true wisdom and reason life has meaning in society today is set against a social abyss of godless materialism as an end-for-itself without belief In much of anything besides science. Since science means knowledge, scientific method ought to mean a method. Today an individual pursuing knowledge should include wisdom rather than to cut himself off a priori and instead just follow preconceived atheistic lines. A philosophical approach through science is challenged with a profusion of cosmological avenues of approach and tools for investigation that are self-evident and not improved with select biases against the idea of God.

My philosophical approach to various issues in-the-world follows from decades of interest in philosophy and its development over the course of history. The history of philosophy quite early coincides with and often informs the development of civilization, intellectual history and leadership flowing with it. Thus the title selection of these four books reflect my own philosophical regard for select issues occurring in contemporary history.

There are  perennial questions in philosophy of interest to specialists, generalists and ordinary people that many or even most people are familiar with concerning the soul, life after death, free will, the difference between good and evil, forms of governance, ethics, metaphysics, cosmology, physics, language, epistemology, memory, the meaning of language values and so forth. After a student of philosophy has familiarized himself with these issues reading the classics of western and eastern philosophy and religion, he may still wish to consider contemporary history and its instantaneous concerns distributed globally on the Internet each second of the day since the start of the third millennium at least. The approaches to considering live issues of contemporary history with a philosophical sense of detachment yet with active concern for 'putting intention on' the politics and public perceptions of those issues, in order to promote the good of humanity – a Socratic concern with Christian ethical points about the welfare of one's fellow human being, might be generally reduced to four.

The material of the books were essays and comments posted on my web log www.garycgibson.blogspot in real time and sorted into these broad general headings. I cannot say that they were of much use in moving U.S. society toward better directions. One must try to keep a society reasonably well informed and moving in a positive direction. It is too easy alternatively, for a society to take up bad ideas and ethics and to go to places where wicked societies have gone before.

Maybe science is relative truth, and conditional. One cannot demand that science produce absolute truth after Einstein's transcending implications of the general and special theories of relativity brought physics to the threshold of an ocean of temporal change.

In the 20th century linguistic philosophy developed through the Vienna Circle and with the rise of symbolic logic started by Frege continuing on to Strawson, Quine and Kripke it was possible to comprehend the nature of meaning and meaning of epistemology along with subjective ideas about it. Prior to the 20th century philosophical advance the history of philosophy might be found best in a few giants from Pre-Socratic philosophers to the peripatetic philosophers, early scientific philosophers like Pythagoras and Democritus to theologian greats such as Augustine to Descartes, Hegel, Kant and a few others.

Science before the rise of observational and experimental methods of verification in the field of cosmology was in a sense metaphysics. If people such as Parmenides and Heraclitus didn't have much accurate technical knowledge of the cosmos they could make logic-based inferences some of which resonate with more modern thought such as the spinning bucket paradigm of Newton and gravity. If five theories explaining the origin of matter and energy equally share claim to validity it might be fair to call the paradigm one of metaphysics-even though the individuals are excellent particle physicists. Metaphysics is about conjecture of explaining cosmology theoretically without directly confirming or validating tests. Science alternatively looks to tangible, material avenues of advance of confirmation.

As I mentioned above though, science need only confirm it's theories on reasonable logical grounds rather than exhaustively and exclusively of any other explanation. Conditional and relative truths that are logically consistent with their premises may be the best of scientific certainty about reality that is possible. The epistemological grounds of knowledge; human knowledge, is not absolute or infallible and is immersed within a physical media of being it cannot view from outside as a flying fish might regard the ocean in which it swims.

The Lord Jesus Christ transcended what is seemingly impossible for humans. The savior could love those that persecuted him, while humanity finds it quite challenging to actually love those that do so. Christians may employ metaphysical paradigmata themselves these days in reinterpreting the Old Testament in light of the shifting sands of temporal knowledge while knowing that God is greater than they.

Solution to ISIS Crisis is Iraqi Citizen Oil Owner State Equalization

When the ordinary Iraqi was aced out of getting a personal share of Iraqi oil field reserves in the form of inalienable stock ownership it permanently funded an unbalanced sectarian conflict based striving to dominate corrupt government to hand off perks and billions of dollars to oil cronie capitalism. That's the worst sort of capitalism and a silly recipe to form a government in strife-inclined Iraq. For all of the citizens to have common cause to fight for the same same they all needed to be issued equal shares of common ownership of Iraq's oil reserves in the form of shares that could not be sold for 50 years. As Iraq kept the peace and prospered from oil development and sales a better kind of realistic democratic environment could grow.

I wrote about this idea years and years ago and nothing came of it. It is easy to see that conflict will occur to dominate oil production until a kind of balance of terror is achieved. Of course in D.C. they would view the owner-state sort of democratic environment as something to avoid and obfuscate. Big oil prefers the sweetheart deals with corrupt government that primarily benefits investor elites.

Good Reasons to Reject Obama-Trade Pacific Attack on Americans

There are valid reasons for the Senate and House to reject Obama-trade. Even rational Democrats such as exist reject another permanent foreign alliance subverting sovereignty. The interests of the nation and those of capitalism sometimes coincide, occasionally conflict and when they differ in particular circumstances and government action is requested by the private sector to ossify a particular form of business action from government, the government should decide what is best for national interests rather than global capitalist’s interests.

When the U.S.A. was founded global capitalism hardly existed-the Hudson Bay Company and the East India Companies were the two basic planetary semi-corporate entities. When George Washington warned of permanent foreign alliances he had no need to foresee a time when the U.S. Government would seek to make permanent foreign alliances that would compromise on sovereignty for the benefit of global capitalists. It is as valid to say that support for the increase of power of global plutocracy in the Pacific basin while undermining American authority to regulate its own national business affairs is treason as much as a potential creator of jobs. The Obama-trade treaty is primarily intended to enrich global plutocracy as were the Obama tax cuts on the most rich. Bill and Hillary Clinton raked in 30 Million dollars in the past year from speaking fees alone and President Obama may want to cash in on the dinner for dollars, black tie circuit himself the next few decades.

There are several forms of capitalism possible. Value theories may be changed to reflect environmental capital needs that are implicitly not outsourcable-a reason why concentrated monetary capital concerns tend to oppose ecological economic values. Adam Smith was at any rate concerned about freeing up foreign trade monopoly by Royal chartered companies. That exclusivity did not allow fair trade by all citizens in accord with their own self-directed interests. Adam Smith did not argue in favor of the crown relinquishing sovereignty to foreign governments. Obama-trade is fundamentally not about the Adam Smith free-trade issue. Free trade by anyone wishing to trade is a different issue than tax rates on and regulations for anyone interested in trading. The issue of the same corporation trading between its own multi-national businesses is yet another issue.

The United States should keep its sovereignty intact and quit making permanent foreign alliances as promiscuously as it can. Instead of being a Babylon the great sort of whore of all nations the U.S.A. should be and become an ideal ecospheric conservator and innovator of ecological economics with a sober judgment about mankind’s place in nature seeking boldly to lead humanity to spiritually free, ecologically rational business and living practices within a free enterprise criterion where it has never gone before.

Ideal Office Environment Infrastructure

There is perhaps no such thing as an ideal office workspace . If an ideal work space became an oxymoron since the fall in the garden of Eden with onerous (yet deserved) work requirements following, the need to accomplish tasks that support human life and well being have advanced over millennia while the ecosphere decayed as a bank of practico-inert raw material transformed with high entropy into product. An ideal work space increases human and ecospheric health so far as possible, or at least conserves it, simultaneously.

Work in a private or public setting has variables with data that when associated with function is best accomplished with configurations to serve the function. Adaptive office space configuration produced with adaptive materials able to reconfigure as quickly as possible in response to worker requirements will become an increasing direction for design.

Office space area delineators have been cubicles and screens with data imaging equipment and keyboard data entry being separate elements. In the future office video imaging displays will be the office workspace partitions themselves. Display content will be anything the worker, designer and system manager order from a view of all the office to the beaches of El Salvador.

Four wall imaging displays will have transformative imaging content yet the displays themselves will be able to morph shape and form rising or decreasing height and substance. Four partitions could change y to  round or rhomboid etc,. A number of materials might exist that quickly change shape and that even take on a bullet-stopping hardness.

The ideal office of the future will be that best adapted for supporting and increasing worker health, well-being and productivity.

Governing mass social entropy quota balances and allotments could be integrated in local area networks and cubicle image display parameters to enable conformity to socially  reduce the increase of material entropy into private and public business criteria. A more intelligent office space would advance social intelligence effort harmonizing macro-social ecological economic effort infrastructure.

Physiology monitors of employees will analyze physical health and stress levels unobtrusively and determine if any health deficiency could be rectified with a change in workload and work performance settings and content in the adaptive spatial configuration. With adaptive technology ubiquitous and increasingly available over time the workspace configuration will attempt to interface with the ideal worker health and performance environment allowing positive environment for creativity and production.

High-speed quantitative traders on Wall Street exploiting any little chink in the social financial armor to take a quick and dirty profit are be best contemporary example for what every office expert system of computational intelligence will run as a background monitor for the office work-potential in the future ideal office environment. Today a few corporate entities exploit the raw material of society, business and nature as a practico-inert substance to profit from. In the future ideal office all citizens and business activity will be cognizant of the unified ecospheric field and exploit it only minimally within boundaries set by rational government.

Society is a material war over for the increase of entropy and maintenance of human health. Realistically rational social and ecosphere relations conserving human and ecospheric health will arise within the ubiquitous ideal office environment of tomorrow. In the ideal office work space real-time expert systems guidance will consider three criteria for manufactures.

1) Most efficient low-entropy added to raw materials

2) Highest number of people that can be employed empirically while competing in a low-entropy economy (owner profit in the low-entropy environment from skimming a small percentage from the worker compensation package)

a) The citizen worker-force well being coincides with the most efficient use of the ecosphere criterion. A maximum low-entropy economy seeks the highest creativity and productivity status of citizens possible

3) Print on demand 3D printing manufacturing can output anywhere on Earth that buyers have interest. Planetary low-entropy economy criterion transcends free-trade paradigm of 18th century.

Apartheid in Indian Country

Political correctness virtually governs organizational inertia in government. South African apartheid was generally held to be wrong and a hindrance to western assertions of democracy as superior to crass dictatorship of a proletariat. It would be inconvenient to say truthfully that American Indian Reservations are held to be a beneficial form of apartheid. Apartheid in some cases cannot be good and in others bad without complicating political correctness labeling.

There is something attractive to liberals in working to treat American Indians as a separate race that deserves different political treatment than ordinary citizens. Though no living American Indians were born earlier than the 20th century, they are still regarded as first peoples because of inherited racial endowment. On that genetic basis different laws and land set asides are made. It is true that some treaties to grant land to Indians in return for peace were made, yet most were not given the right to vote whatsoever as individuals in American politics. In order for Indians to qualify for a different legal status they actually needed to be different. In wasn’t discrimination to deny Indians equal legal rights if they were not equal and were instead separate.

Dividing and conquering in detail enemies of the concentration of wealth might be accomplished through numerous means in the U.S.A. today. Americans have no history of throwing off a vast class of royal aristocrats that were vampires by and large except for the brief, successful revolution by a minority. In Europe huge famines killing millions under royal rule happened numerous times in the 17th century. The Dutch lost two and founded New Amsterdam. The Russians lost 3-4 million some time later. Protracted bloody revolutions happened-they new what it was to get rid of the predatory scum at the top. Now Americans don’t take any of that seriously and put themselves into pink and lavender cute designer chains. The civil war was fought to keep white people free of aristocracy that was threatening to return through the southern aristocrats and their Brit friends (not referring to Bill Clinton or Tits Up). Abe Lincoln made the biggest mass hanging in U.S. history, of American Indians, waging insurrection during the war (reluctantly). Republicans took democracy seriously.

In many Indian rights and Indian sovereignty issues today that would have Indians join federal advisory boards to mismanage Yukon River king salmon equally with incompetent non-Indian mismanagers or give Indians the ancestral right to open gambling casinos or hootchie kootchie clubs nothing is said about restoring the Indian historical right to be ineligible to vote or get non-Indian specialized federal benefits as was historically the case.

A word about restoring the Pacific King Salmon fishery to health with a simple five-step method-here’s how;

1) No taking of fish in international waters

2) Fish must be caught within 12 miles of continental shore

3) Six consecutive no-fishing years every 20 years

4) Total maximum allowable annual catch is 50% of all fish overall

5) Sports, subsistence and commercial fisherpersons would each be given one-third of the 50% harvest of all available fish.

It is understandable that Indians prefer to have apartheid and eat the federal cake too, perhaps sharing the Federal Reserve’s cash printing extravaganza along with resident aliens that would like to retire by the millions on social security benefits in Mexico, China, India, Pakistan and wherever (sometimes in order to fund terrorist missions to America).

In order for justice to prevail and to keep the meaning of apartheid’s politically correct labeling alive as American Indians increase the strength of their sovereign apartheid they should give up their properties of rights citizens of a dubiously United States proportionately. That is to the degree that American Indians claim sovereign apartheid they should relinquish American citizenship.

The fair and balanced way of Indian apartheid might best be founded on population density for Indians such that they have land population density equal to that of 1776 in areas they actually resided in rather than journeyed across to hunt or go for war parties. I am not unsympathetic about the state of Indian apartheid in the U.S.A. My only descendant has American Indian ancestors. The ethnic purity of American Indians was not a bad thing; being separated from cultural contamination of the Old World did let those people have 30,000 years of comparative Independence, yet slavery and genocide were as common in America then as it was in savage European and Asian cultures until, hmmm, a few years ago?

Savage civilizations of primitive peoples phased out in Europe during the 20th century (only joking), it phased out with the rise of the first Mesopotamian civilizations and entered the new phase of civilized violence and state terrorism. American Indians ran a few thousand years behind Eurasian-Mesopotamian and North African cultures of course, and most of the area that is the U.S.A. outside of Cohokia circa 1000-1300 a.d. never developed civilization at all. That also was favorably comparable to much of Europe that did not develop state tyranny everywhere until perhaps 1000 a.d.

Advanced civilizations kill their environment better than savages. American Indians exterminated many species including wooly mammoths and saber tooth tigers yet today 1/6th of land mammals are facing extinction. I think that is a conservative miunderestimation. More likely there will be no larger mammals alive outside zoos except for people in a century. Washington State’s politicians have preponderantly killed Puget Sound and Hood Canal for fish and mammal life and made the region look like a pro anti-environmentalism advertisement. Maybe they could be relocated to Baltimore and Chesapeake Bay to fix that. Yet I am more generous than most in that respect.

Next week I may examine how the problems of Baltimore were caused by a failure to allow in enough illegal aliens to bring a new and improved work and invention ethic to Maryland. Mexican illegal alien advocates generally demand an end to whites-only apartheid of Del Norte caused by border law enforcement. The peaceful Delaware tribe pacified the eastern shore of Maryland long ago (with extirpation of local dissidents) and a peaceful Mexican labor occupation of Baltimore can probably do same to labor. Ought not a Frosted Flakes size box of Cracker Jack be provided to rioters by FEMA whenever civil disturbances occur in the future? Civil rights for the many are as important as those lost for the individual.

Swarms of Cheap Drones Could Change War and Peace

Terrorists seeking to blow up critical infrastructure such as under the ice arctic oil wellheads or drug smugglers flying heroin into the U.S. A. will have a wealth of new drone tools ahead one easily foresees. Attackers of the White House could fly a half pound of composition five on a raptor sized drone aircraft, drone torpedoes able to infiltrate defended shoreline and clouds of drones with smart chips able to recognize hostile troop formations and fire a single bullet or fly near with a silent electric, solar powered engine to detonate will transform the concept of security generally. The amazing thing about all that is that commercial enterprise and oppressive governments alike are welcoming development of the little flying or submersible buggers with limited artificial intelligent self-piloting chips whole heartedly.

With very cheap drone aircraft made-in-China in the definite realm of possibilities one wonders how a billion little flying kamikaze warriors buzzing around battlefields would interact with human soldiers, marines and so forth? American engineers developing these products for sale-I saw one flying above the highway recently with hovering capability flown like a radio-controlled airplane formerly was-are unintentionally altering the historical human approach to military conflict. It is challenging to say of that is a good or bad thing.

Potential China-U.S. Naval Battle Over Spratly Islands Could Benefit Ecosphere Conservation

The gross Chinese destruction of healthy reef habitat to build up land and claims to sovereignty over the the Spratly islands-a no man's land if there ever was highlights the idiotic use of power to grab real estate. to a certain extent there wasn't even enough land for marines, of any side, to land on. The first good typhoon might drown whatever is built up there. Marine life can find the place a paradise though. It is mankind that stupidly destroys sea life in innumerable ways from acidic ocean content increase to over-fishing and habitat destruction. Building up land, blasting sub-sea surface elements for foundations and so forth while putting out copious diesel fuel exhaust is really stupid.

Obviously naval battles of scale are difficult to film these decades. The last great naval surface battles the U.S. navy played a major part in were during the second world war. One U.S. destroyer escort captain made a suicidal run at a Japanese cruiser as part of an engagement off Alaska.  Captain Dan Evans was awarded the medal of honor though his body was never found. Probably a great cruise missile conflagration and complete destruction of anything built up or located in the Spratly islands would be good television viewing yet it would be expensive and polluting.

Is it possible the place could be made a marine sanctuary to let fish recover health there a little before venturing outside? Potential warring sides could instead defend the marine sanctuary.

The Early U.S.A. Would Have Been Littered With Broadcast Media Corpses if the Freqs Existed

The first amendment was created long before dueling became outlawed. The founders respected free speech yet they also respected a man's right to defend against common slander, defamation and so forth. They new that legal dueling made citizens temper what they choose to say publicly because they would be accountable for it. The broadcast media today has made a complete farce of free speech. They are like the wild kudzu plant that has overgrown the south as a noxious weed. Fair and balanced broadcast verbiage cannot really be achieved unless listeners can duel the broadcasters if they wish.

A restoration of free speech parameters consistent with some modicum of personal honor and integrity should be developed. Actually the most practical way would be to deny organized crime access to broadcast wavelengths and use new technology to give all broadcast frequencies to individual citizens to share in some kind of fair non-preferential order. It might be desirable to some to shoot the infected dogs (whoever they are), yet Christian virtue must temper the will of classical virtue to exact just retribution now and then.

The wikipedia article below relates that dueling presented a 'quick and easy way to settle disputes outside the courts' in the American west and south until the civil war. The broadcast media exploitation of the first amendment to hide behind as a tool to use abusive language or perpetrate organized torts in a legally hard-to-charge paradigm would have been disambiguated in the era of legal dueling.

Alexander Hamilton was a great political theorist, yet the third V.P. of the United States Aaron Burr ended his life in a duel in 1804. Early America would have been littered with corpses of today's broadcast media if they had been as they are with today's tools for tyranny in 1800.

Demos Crash Obama's Harvard Pacific Sovereignty Trade Fast Track

With President Obama and Harry Read seeming like lame ducks Senate Democrats were swift to bulldog-crash the Pacific rim sovereignty trade surrender to corporatism and evil empires fast track authority. Senate Democrats finally realized that their President is a Harvard Yard figure  steering tax cuts and political power to corporations while sounding sorry about it. Democrats are running for re-elections and the President isn't-hence the demo of the Free Trade outsourcing of defense industries and industrial capacity to China so the U.S.A. couldn't possible stand any sort of war since its economy would stop even if China's was vaporized, Nationalism is sooo oldish isn't it?

Seriously though, with direct free trade and existing outsourcing via Internet of white collar jobs and with NAFTA style relocation of industrial production to China if the Chinese Communist party that requires 51% Chinese ownership in any foreign forms locating in China wanted to bite the bullet and close down the U.S. economy they could do so without a shot being fired.

The corporatist-concentrated wealth plutocracy that is the new evil empire does not care if Americans become peons themselves and Democrats usually eat up the slop being fed them as upwardly mobile servo-unit fems and minorities. They resist a little near election time yet as millionaires in office they still want the tax cuts and fossil fueled economic infrastructure.

Nationalism is a way to keep at least a semblance of pluralism in international politics. Otherwise an amoral global evil empire with plutocrats of all political parties will probably just go right ahead and f up the planet's environment and populace before they move off-world.

Obama-Clinton Shun Russian Contribution to Winning W.W. II

When President Clinton pressured Boris Yeltsin to redraw the map of Europe it was a short sighted policy. A very weak Russian federation named C.I.S. with a President who would wander around the White House lawn drunk in his underpants while Bill was being jobbed could not be expected to represent Russian sentiments about giving up the historical heartland of Russia-the Ukraine.

The early 90s political anomie in Europe was a time that required stability in a new normal decency with a community of understanding and respect. Instead the Clinton administration launched a cruise missile war on Serbia seeking to shed its Muslim historical problem that had been suppressed by Marshall Tito and the communist government of Yugoslavia. The Serbian war was an importunately timed affair that undermined European stability as a kind of sideshow distraction. For humanitarian reasons Americans generally supported the intervention-yet it gave the wrong impression to the Muslim world that it might use American intervention on behalf of Muslims to expand the network of jihad and war against the west. Russia too encountered problems with restive Muslims in several engagements. American responses were that they were just trying to get rid of communism. I believe that analysis was mistaken.

Bill Clinton's policy of fake liberalism that simply concentrates wealth and undermined U.S. nationalism also subverted European stability and integration with Russia's economy in anything like a free-trade paradigm. Liberating American minorities from the prosperity they traditionally had with Republican leadership (that ended slavery and integrated schools etc.) is the glitz side of the coin of dumbing down Democrat intelligence. The expropriation of Ukraine as just another nation being liberated from communism was plain wrong. Ukraine is were Russia began. I worked at a Burger King in Houston long ago. A recent black immigrant to the U.S.A. told me that America is a women with her legs spread wide. As I understand it, Poland did not exist before the First World War. It belong to three empires that fell during the war. The Poles used the Imperial conflict as an opportunity to lever land in exchange for troops. When the short lived King of Poland gave way in 1920 a newly independent Poland warred upon Lithuania. The Polish-Ukrainian war came to an end. Poland took more land from Prussia via the League of Nations. Poland was an expanding nation annexing Central Lithuania soon after. Upper Silesia went to Poland from Germany too, and some of that Polish increase and Germany decrease set the stage for revenge from Germany without a doubt.

Other issues were German veterans that thought they could have won without the armistice (they were wrong), other vast reparations were put on Germany and the Jewish radicals were perceived as leading the revolution that forced the Kaiser and aristocracy from power. In Munich Hitler would have his beer hall putsch from the same beer hall where a Jewish political organizer led a revolt to depose the Prince of Bavaria with an 800 year history. Many a deep troubles existed. Maybe one could blame it all on the Hanseatic League and the failure of the Vikings to develop better ship design a little earlier.

Poland was swell. yet how could the small Red Army in conflict with an expansive Poland and with America at war on the Red Army (we sent 2000 soldiers to help the White Army) and after Lenin's earlier surrender of much of Ukraine to Germany at the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk ( a model for Yeltsin later) deal with Poland in the aftermath of the First World war. Russia was in an uneasy situation, challenged on all fronts even in peace, and the people had no ability to deal with their own corrupt government. Lenin had three strokes and was out of existence with Stalin the dictator taking power and killing most all of the old Soviet Bolshevik leaders. Russian chess was probably challenged in this era to lead much.

Russia had its troubles from Revolution obviously; how were ordinary people to deal with either the Tsar or a Dictatorship led by the Reds. Evolving out the Stalinist apparatus following the Second World War would take decades. When it finally faded away in January 1989 stability might have resumed if Bill Clinton had not blundered into taking the Ukraine from Russia.

In the United States some have speculated that if we had not entered the first world war and had instead let the parties involved reach their own natural balance the aftermath would have been better. The United States throughout the 20th century was interventionist and often with dubious result with questionably well informed leaders making decisions to visit war upon some place for some reason that occasionally appeared to primarily benefit the military-industrial complex. The present American policy regarding Ukraine is based on greed and ignorance stimulated by the British drive to have power over more land and global economics to replace their lost empire. It is not in N.A.T.O.'s interest to create long term enmity with Russia over the issue of taking its historical heartland and denying it Dnepr River frontage. Bobby Fischer was perhaps right to visit Serbia to play chess in 1992. Fischer was a native English language speaker, yet his father was Russian and lived in Russia. Perhaps he was subconsciously loyal to his father's land, rather than that of the nation opposed to his earning a living playing chess for millions of bucks.

Wasn't Former World Champ Kasparov Wrong About Ukraine?

Former World Chess Champ Garry Kasparov may have got it wrong on the Ukraine. While billionaires friendlier to the United States than Russia may have taken over in political influence, President Clinton levered a weak Boris Yeltsin to give it up. President Clinton was on a roll having the successful cruise missile attacks on Serbia as an example to a Russian military in disarray, and President Clinton entertained the drunken Boris Yeltsin at the White House, who was seen running around the White House lawn in his underpants under the influence.

President Clinton founded another cold war in that era failing to understand Russian History in the region-Russia will never give up the core of historical Russia without enmity any more than the U.S.A. would give up Boston without better prospects in China?

Free Operating Systems the Wave of the Future for Billions

Free open source computer operating systems such as Linux Mint and Ubuntu may be the wave of the future in a world with billions of economically poor people. Even in the United States half of the population have less than one-half of one percent of the nation's wealth and spending on software can be a challenge.

Microsoft windows is an old proprietary operating systems best suited for first-world home establishments and desktop computers plugged in all of the time with external security products working on it that slow down computer processing speed. Microsoft has historically charged a lot for their new operating systems-first world prices, adding quite a bit to the cost of PCs. With cheaper tablet computers and with Google and other trying to bring free wireless to the world's poor billions free operating systems have a much better distro (distribution) prospect than costly, proprietary OS's like MS Windows.

MS windows has always been an uneasy fit for smaller web-book computers that are often shut on and off or hibernated. The same issues may cohere within tablet computers. Some users spend most of their computer use time simply engaging with windows to make it work while with open source systems there is little down time once one is familiar with it.

There are no replacement costs for open source systems if one is locked out of the computer. It is free and easy to replace the OS with a reinstall and without a product code or registration number while alternatively MS Windows is costly to replace if one hasn't got a registration key code that may have been lost.

Windows today seems for many like a retardation factor over time. Its proprietary immune system is forever clashing with all of the external programs that interact to use it. A strong operating system immune protocol is not necessarily a bad thing. Compared with open source OS's where it is challenging to hide malware and innumerable programmers work to keep the OS working sharing corrections to deficiency that may arise, the proprietary OS in mass use has vulnerabilities to specialized attack that it must solve itself-fewer programmers would be working for proprietary systems than for free open source systems paradoxically, part-time perhaps. One wonders if it is safer to store proprietary material in proprietary systems than in open source OS's?

For some the Windows OS never gets better and always requires time consuming shut down updates and so forth. Free open source operating systems implicitly give a sales advantage (e.g. Android) over platforms with costly, slow MS windows. Limited distribution designer proprietary OS's with special features obviously present a special appeal to some users comparable perhaps to expensive muscle car-SUVs made by Rolls Royce, if such exist for elites versus low-cost electric powered wheel-motor electro-magnetic platforms for the masses running along power lines planted in the highway..

Like the broadcast media that was new in their day decades ago that has since evolved to become a cancer upon democracy, MS Windows is an old technological and software paradigm that may struggle to adapt to the modern world. One trusts that the creative, imitative genius of Bill Gates will influence the company to imitate the free platform features of open source operating systems and find a new model for generating revenue with a free operating system itself. Maybe it could even find a way to pay users for using MS Windows in a new OS revolution.

A recent report was on the actor Ben Affleck's family slave owning history. Most know that the Carters of Georgia were a great slave owning plantation family that got out of that business fairly early. Where are the stories of American blacks of mixed blood that have ancestors that fought for the confederacy?

Even before the civil war black slave owners were having sex with black slaves and reproducing mixed blood slaves. In Hugh Hefner black bunny heaven the southern aristocracy had an ad hoc harem of unlimited scale. Their mixed blood black slave children had ancestors that fought for the confederacy.

Large aloof government and corporate bureaucracies requiring allegiance to corrupt goals for career security are additional factors. Circumstantially the bad choice of free enterprise modality with networked corporate capitalism represses individual inventors and development of rational environmental economic goals and technology as well as government policy with ecospheric wisdom. Accelerated entropy is just one by-product as it needs to use a corrupt broadcast media tool of persuasion/brainwashing/deceit to bring the masses grown in idiot ideology like mushrooms kept in the dark and fed a lot of manure to accept the progressive redistribution of wealth and power from the poor and middle class to the rich. Presently 50% of the people of the U.S.A. have less than a half of 1% of the nation’s wealth.

Degrading and making powerless the U.S, general populace is a sustained policy of corrupt government. It is in a win-win situation regarding corruption though.
