INTRODUCTION

Seek you first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all the things that the gentiles are dying for, will be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33)

The word of God, the bible is the law of life, when put to work produces accordingly.

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (Joshua 1:8).

A law is something that works all the time, it’s an established principle that will work for whoever puts it to work. The law of service works for anyone that gets involved in it.

And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee, There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.. (Exodus 23:26)

The universe operates by laws, these laws affect our daily activities and the results thereof. Examples of spiritual and natural laws are law of Faith, law of seedtime and harvest gravitational law, law of motion, law of aerodynamics etc.

I define law of service as helping and doing work for someone and gracefully receiving multiplied benefits without asking for it. And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee, There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil..(Exodus 23:26).

The law of service is serving God’s interest thereby operating in THE BLESSING and supernatural favour as an aftermath. (Proverbs 10:22, Psalm 102:13-15).

The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

"Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.

So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory".

Failure to get involved with this law positively implies continuous struggle in life.

A master of life is first a servant of life. True leadership is service.

"Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave—just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many" (Matthew 20:26–28).

Jesus is and will forever remain the greatest human to walk this planet earth and He came to serve.

Paul the great said "For this [very] night there stood by my side an angel of the God to Whom I belong and Whom I serve and worship" (Acts 27:23)

Service engenders greatness. Greatness is the quality of distinction, eminence that emanates from servanthood. A great servant is a distinguished, peculiar, celebrated, illustrious server.

Supernatural success is success per excellence, out of this natural world success. Success found only in God, success not found in technology, oil and gas, real estate, sports, shipping, politics or any endeavour in life. (Job 28: 1-28). In the world system, someone may be extremely wealthy, very successful financially but fail in marriage or be afflicted with one sickness or another, or successful in marriage and financially but addicted to something shameful. Supernatural success connotes success all round-super financially blessed, living in divine health, mentally sound, prosperous family with successful children and fulfilling marriage. Supernatural success is attainable only in service to God.

Exceptionalism is a function of service. Service is the seed of greatness in the market place, church and family. As an entrepreneur, your service capacity determines your sphere of influence and affluence, as an employee, its responsible for your progressive promotion in your career, as a public servant at any level, this fundamental virtue will limit or enlarge your influence and acceptability. Your sphere of influence is directly proportional to your service sphere. The largeness of your heart to serve defines your portion.

Your service capacity is proportional to resources and influence you command.

The richest serves the most.

If we must see God’s power in our churches and lives this end time, we must mind priorities. The first step to any blessing of God is to seek first his kingdom, then all other things will be added to you.

Let’s compare some very practical service scenarios:

In public service, you work first, before recognition and payment.

As an entrepreneur, business or company owner, you will first service your business or company for several months or even years before the business or company begins to pay you back.

As an employee, you work first for your employer, then you get paid at the end of the month.

For successful relationship or marriage, there must first be a giving or service period before benefits from the relationship.

Any profitable venture must first be serviced, even charity organisations are first serviced by someone before it starts serving people.

Why then do we want this basic principle of life to be different or change in church? Why will someone come to church, and instantly expect payment from God without serving? In some churches in China, they welcome new believers by saying Jesus now has a new pair of eyes to see with, new ears to listen with, new hands to help with, and new heart to love others with. I totally agree with them. That is the right order. We know that spiritual laws controls natural laws meaning that the principle of service before payment emanated from the spiritual. This is why many Christians are frustrated today, they don’t mind this principle in God’s kingdom. But as you apply the principle on service outlined in this book, supernatural success becomes natural in your life and at your will.

The enemy has deceived Christians that they don’t have to serve God to be blessed.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me. (Exodus. 8:1, 9:1, 7:16).

If we would take the bible as it is, apply it, lots of prayer points will be eliminated from our lives by reason of divine manifestations.

If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land (Isaiah 1:19).

If we will need to serve first as public servants before recognition and payment, serve our businesses before the business pays off, serve our employers before payment, evidently, we must serve God first before we can legitimately expect God to manifest Himself in our lives.

Servant hood is the master key of destiny, it’s the master key of success. Servanthood in the kingdom is dignifying.

Value determines reward which is a function of service or servant hood. Jesus the master says I am here as one that serves.

Service is the action of helping or doing work for someone. A servant is a person in the service of another. A server is one that serves the interest of his master.

A servant is a devoted and helpful follower or supporter. A tireless servant of God.

God has publicly and privately employed every Christian to serve. It is the highest calling and employment ever, and if executed with dignity brings unimaginable fulfilment and supernatural success.

Service is what gives you fundamental right to the promise in the Holy Scriptures. Not serving but expecting manifestation of the promises is likened to a parasitic relationship. We are in the era where only responsible Christians will reign. Responsibility will be the differentiating factor between succeeding and failing Christians. God will not entrust power and wealth to irresponsible children because he doesn’t waste. Service is proof of your maturity and responsibility. Responsibility guarantees profitability. Many Christians needs to urgently graduate and upgrade from ordinary Christianity to advance Christianity. Advance Christianity leads to advancement in life and destiny.

Time to Re-strategize.

It is said that Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Change is permanent, your capacity to change positively determines your relevance in life, business, church, family. Its paramount that we continuous research and study for changes to apply in our endeavours to improve results, increase impacts generated and enhance our lives.

Many Christians have been praying same prayer points forever, neglecting to stop and think why no result? Wisdom demands that you rethink a prayer made for several weeks, months or years without result and adapt a different approach. Kenneth Hagin said he has never asked God for a thing without getting an answer within a three day period. The right prayer made orderly will deliver instant results.

Prayer service for the kingdom of God ensures answers to personal prayers. The fulfilment of every Christian depends on the largeness of their hearts for service.

The potentials in Christianity are beyond comprehension. Jesus paid cash in advance for us to enjoy peace like a river that is beyond understanding, joy unspeakable full of glory, divine health not available with any doctor or in any hospital, long life as much as your desire by reason of strength, unlimited wealth and riches, all round spiritual, mental, and intellectual, emotional and physical prosperity.

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (3John 1:2)

If you want God to take over your life battles, be an enemy to your enemies, service is the master key. One of the keys to a worry free life is service to God. Serving God gives you the assurance that He is protecting you. You don’t know the meaning of true fulfilment until you are in God’s service. Serving God is good for you. Behind every glory is a story.

As Christians, we are the head, first class citizens on earth but until you know it and how to access it, you remain a fifth class citizen struggling in this life.

Until my spiritual father, Dr. David Oyedepo started teaching the benefits of giving to God and His work, many Christian were giving but were not expecting any return, hence they received no return on investment.

However, God’s word works for those who put it to work. Pursue God as if you have no concerns, and He will turn all your concerns to celebrations. Your success depends on your self will to serve God, the one that empowers for success.

The power of service is about stewardship in the kingdom of God and the principles that makes your service yield maximally. The jackpot of life explains some fringe benefits of service in the kingdom of God. In chapter two, I look at the Kingdom Army, vision of heaven and dealing with your adversary the devil to help us appreciate our unique position as the armies of the lord and discover how to deal with your archenemy.
