About this ebook
I used to get extremely burned out in my old job and couldn't even handle finding and booking a hotel and flight or finding what to do when I did take time off. So, I thought "wouldn't it be awesome if someone would write a guide that just gave you one perfect escape; the perfect hotel, spa, flight and restaurant."
So that's what I did.
I believe I've found the perfect Vegas hotel (it was a challenge, there are hundreds, if not thousands of excellent contenders in Vegas), two excellent spas, a restaurant, and a review of my flight that includes a fantastic way to stretch out without paying for first class, (I know, I need to write more easy to follow stuff about airmiles because you can really work them) and The Strip sights, but I can only apologise that I didn't make it to what looked like the hottest club in Vegas – so I can only give you a tip and not a personal review of that one.

Introduction
Hi there, I'm Pearl Howie (aka Pearl Escapes) and this is my slightly sleepy guide to Las Vegas.
I used to get extremely burned out in my old job and couldn't even handle finding and booking a hotel and flight or finding what to do when I did take time off. So, I thought wouldn't it be awesome if someone would write a guide that just gave you one perfect escape; the perfect hotel, spa, flight and restaurant.
I'd wanted to visit Las Vegas for years and I had been planning it with my then-boyfriend in 2014 and 2015 but it was a no go with his schedule and budget, so in 2016 I decided to go it alone in April.
Then a retreat with don Miguel Ruiz (The Four Agreements
) came up in Sedona, Arizona at the same time – after I had already decided that he was the top person in the world that I wanted to study with in 2016! I have a passion for traditional healing so I was like a kid in a candy store looking at all the spas and native American tours in Arizona and just, well, everything. And it was the same with Las Vegas. It has so many incredible hotels and spas and restaurants and clubs and shows and sights and, and, and…
I'm not sure you can ever do Vegas, perhaps like New York, Paris and London it changes too fast, keeps adding more stuff, so that by the time you feel you've done it you just have to start again. I'm so happy because I wanted to do it again before I'd even finished the first time. In fact there were many top things on my list that I didn't even get to… I didn't even make it to the old part of Vegas and The Golden Nugget or the zip wires, but as I always say, you have to go at your own pace, and my pace was lots of time relaxing in luxury spas and my hotel.
This whole trip was the most amazing escape of my life, and I am so glad that I could finally arrive back in Vegas and let it take care of me after my soul searching in the Arizona desert. I am publishing the guide to the entire trip, plus each individual escape – Sedona, Winslow, Page, Zion Valley, Chandler, Flagstaff (for The Grand Canyon) and Saguaro Lake. I experienced such a profound healing on this trip that I had to come home and write a self-help book; free Feeling Real Emotions Everyday
- a full colour photographic book which is out now. I'm also now touring and talking about the book – please check out my blog on my website www.pearlescapes.co.uk for details of upcoming dates.
If you find anything I've written about the spas confusing I also have a separate guide; The Guide to Massage, Spa Treatments and Healing from Pearl Escapes 2016
which I started writing in order to make the world of spas, massage and healing more accessible and which I am proud to say is the most accurate resource in the world to my knowledge.
