About this ebook
I wrote my first poem at the tender age of eight, and it was from here that I had a liking for writing, however, it would be a further eight years before I would take a pen to paper and begin writing again.
Most of my poems have a purpose, as some were written when I was influenced by my teachings when attending Sunday School, where other’s hit me when I was at my lowest point in my life. I have seen happiness and sadness, fun and laughter, as well as tears and sorrow; and with each one of my emotions, I was lucky enough to be able to put pen to paper; and write down my thoughts.
Some of my poems are rhyming, where others are written in a different aspect, but still within the elements of poetry. If we open our minds, it is amazing what we can achieve by writing those first few words.
Anybody can write poetry, you just need a pen and paper
