Let’s face it, accounting and tax are not the most exciting topics for most of us. So, well done for opening this book and reading this far. Stick with it and you might even find it helpful.
I think we can all agree that the consequences of not addressing the basic tax regulations could be dire for our finances and potentially, our future life plans. It is a subject we all know we SHOULD understand and SHOULD keep up to date with, but who really does? Who has the time? I certainly don’t and if I’m being honest, I’d rather do almost anything else instead!
My husband and I run a building firm and after years of using the same ‘old school’ accountant we realized that for us to grow the business we needed some serious financial planning and guidance. We just simply didn’t know enough about taxes or accounting to be sure that we were being efficient.
We were introduced to Chantal by a mutual friend just after we had been badly let down by an accountant, who had promised us the world and promptly disappeared without having done anything for nearly a year. The accounts were in a mess and we were no closer to achieving our goals.

Wow!!
The accountancy firm she built from scratch took a holistic approach, looking not just at the company accounts, but at all areas of our lives, helping us to plan for our family’s future. Our meetings often took place at the kitchen table over a cuppa on a Saturday morning.
Working with Chantal we came to realise very quickly that we don’t need
