Just Off The Highway is a disturbing tale of bloody terror and horror. (Reader beware!)
Heading home after a fun-filled weekend in South Padre Island, Texas, Ginger and friends get caught in a bad thunderstorm.
They find shelter at a small a bed and breakfast, ran by an amiable family.
Ginger and her friends quickly find themselves having a nice meal and drinking beer, and then someone brings out a tequila bottle.
Later on that night, after going to bed, things take a sharp turn when one of her friends is badly injured by one of the family members. They learn quickly that the family isn't what it appeared to be—they are crazy killers!
Trapped and unable to make a phone call, they were being hunted. They decide that the only way to get help is to make it back to the highway and flag someone down to call the police.
Supplied with bow and arrows and machetes, the crazy family has different plans for them.
