The scientists have had plenty of opportunities but never a valid candidate, and now they actually have two. The order came down, and the procedure went according to plan, and now the decision of two different men doing two completely different things at the same time that fitted the puzzle of finding two suitable suiters with the first set of brainwave linking at the same time on the same day set things in motion. But the scientists had no idea that by switching their subject's—Jeffery Manter's—mind, they would send him on a trip of never-ending pleasure, torture, and more life-changing events.
