Broken Toys is the account of a thirty-year-old writer faced with an intractable challenge. Stuck in hospital for almost two months, the protagonist becomes engulfed in a world governed by uncertainty; a world were bravery and vulnerability often converge. Exiled from his daily routine, a confused hero is forced to earn his living in a place where time is the most precious commodity.
This book is neither a medical compendium, nor a philosophical essay. It's a survival manual, an attempt to silence our loudest fears.
