      A TRIBUTE

      [From a daughter-in-law to her father-in law]

      For centuries such a person

      Will never be born again

      One who will guide me to live

      A dauntless life again

      Which I can say to praise him

      I am not even the dust of his feet

      Never made me realize the absence of my parents

      Now my eyes are moist forever

      He taught me all the skills of life to endeavour

      He made me realize

      Certain vital aspects of life

      It is easy to earn money but difficult to gain respect

      If one does one’s duties with honesty and dedication

      Life will become smoother for the coming generations

      Happiness is in store for the one who is punctual

      When difficult times arise

      Just bow your head

      Leave all your problems

      In the hands of WAHEGURU

      Learn such lessons in life

      That helps you move forward in life
