Helene Pruszynski had always dreamed of being a journalist.
The 21-year-old was so passionate, that when she heard there was an internship at a radio station more than 3000 kilometres away, she left home to take up the position.
She stayed with her aunt and uncle and excitedly caught the bus to work each morning.
With her infectious smile and enthusiasm, she was a hit with her co-workers.
